Is there anybody truly undeserving of forgiveness?

Is there any reason killing someone for money is better or worse than killing someone out of passion?

Killing is killing and people are people.

Everyone deserves a second chance regardless of all circumstance.

What do you do?
Well it depends- was he a member of the party, and what were his reasons for joining?

I must say though that no matter how regretful he says he feels, the fact that he still wants to hide instead of accepting his fate does make me doubt whether he thinks what he did was wrong in the first place.

Yes. He has "paid" for his crimes with internal torture and fear.

Hell, I chose "other" because if it came down to it, I'd get into a gunfight with police while he escapes if need be. You come under my wing, the talons are not just for show. >.>

You?d defend the life of a criminal? It?s the court that decides if someone has paid for their crimes not the criminal.
Then, what about my decision? Am I less worth of judging another than a mere human? Man plays God far too often. :/

I would defend the life of one deemed "criminal", yes. Because much is deemed "criminal" when it should not be. Plus, not everything that is "criminal" is on the same level. <.<

Turn him in.
First - I won't get an accurate picture of the circumstances from him, therefore I can't know all the circumstances. They could be looking for him for unrelated reasons, in any case, it's the jury's job to decide this, they will have more facts than I will, and they will have all the facts I do.

You don?t get a say.
Any reason why not? :/

And this is hardly playing god this is simply bring a war criminal too justice.
Can we have George W. Bush on trial then? :/

The Revenge based justice system is crap. Solves absolutely nothing. He has payed his dues in more ways than one. Punishment now would be meaningless.

So if a yank came in my house when their troops are overseas 'protecting liberties' I'd stab him too?

What if he was only a chef, can you blame him for what others may have done, whether or not under duress (by their own choice too?).

Saying no just shows who the true monster is.

If you had to choice between joining the SS as a soldier, or go work as a labourer in an concentration camp, or be sent to the camp, what would you chose?

Not all had the the chance of choosing, others where teached at the school that Jews where parasites, and to be true to ourselves we all have done stupid things in our late teens and early twenties.

At the moment you are just showing ignorance and it hurts to watch!

I would hide them, sure. But as someone else already said, if they say there were just following orders, I will beat them.

If it was 1955 and the KGB were at my door, I'd have to think about it.

Having said that, last time I checked it was 2011. I harbour no I'll will against the nazis. They are an issue of a bygone age, and my policy is to let bygones be bygones.

Truth be told, I don't care if they have changed or not either. Whether or not I'll help is purely dependent on the fact how much I like em.

I'd turn him in, there's nothing he can do at this point anyway. Besides, I'd expect the same from him, given that I am a leftist, an aspie, have the hair and eye-colour of a slav, and my grandparents were marked as troublemakers and slavs for early extermination.

Never forget, never forgive.

Most of the officers at this camp were doing what they were told - if they didn't they'd likely be imprisoned themselves, so they wouldn't be able to supply for their family. They were scared, threatened, and bullied into complying, they did this for their families, and you would too. I know I would.

Of course I would forgive him, and I wouldn't turn him into the police, unless the police are asking about something completely different that he did.
