I would patent it and make a company...
Wait, why would the ultimate cure kill of humanity? If it can cure EVERYTHING then it must be able to cure all diseases, age, and any physical problems such as heart problems to missing an arm.
We could easily colonize space and take over the universe, if we could cure ourselves whilst dying in space.
'sides, I could keep it for myself and use it on myself daily, thus circumventing death by assassination or age.

You invent a cure for everything and the media finds out and broadcast it to the world.

If you don't give it up people will NEVER leave you alone and you will have thousands of angry morons with signs at your door and someone will probably attempt to kill you and take it themselves. The media will probably make you look like a monster.

But if you do give it up you will have doomed to world to over-population and basically kill the human race. (you probably don't want that on your conscience)

Now what do you do?
Oh, for fucksakes. Not the stale overpopulation argument repackaged. You act as if humans are incapable of rationally assessing the economic and basic resources available to them before deciding whether or not to reproduce (and yes, this includes idiot teens getting pregnant and choosing whether to abort.)

But to answer your question, I'd sell it, but at a reasonable price. Cost + $6 per dose. Why six bucks? It's a friggin' cure-all! You didn't say it was a prevent-all. You think I can't make up the low margin in volume? I could make a very comfortable living from it without being a predatory asshole. And even if I couldn't, I could at least buy lunch selling a couple a day.
If it was a prevent all you could still make enough money to live several lifetimes over, which is what you plan to do with it right?
If it was a prevent-all I'd have to up the price to compensate for the lack of repeat business (buy it once, buy it for life), but I'd still put it well within the reach of a worker who could then pay me back on credit with a few months' worth of the health premiums she'd no longer have to pay.

Does it cure aging...?

If thats the case then i would offer its rewards for like nobel prizes and the like.
And give it famous scientists and over immportant peoples.
And give it to myself.

Then let the masses die to some form of plague.
Then new awesome world filled with the best and brightest.
I become god of this new world.

I think somewhere this plan went to far.....

It depends on whether it can prevent death, if so I would keep it secret as I believe that a world of immortals would in the long run ruin humanity. If it would just keep people healthy until old age however then I would patent it and licence it to a drug company on the condition that they have to give it out for free to those that can't afford it.

Begin my own pharmaceuticals company and sell it off to the world for a massive profit, Ensuring that only the rich or well off can afford it, Leading to the cure of horrible disease and no chance of overpopulation.

Wait for a while, see the population thinned to a third of it's previous size, but secretly release little particles of it in the universities as to keep them a little healthier. It's where the most usefull people are for the new world order.

except economics. I HATE economy.

I'd like to say that of course I give it to the world but to be truthful with you I'd make sure that I did't have to worry about my life after that. So I'd balckmail a job I wanted (with conditions I tell them) nice house plus bonus in a year, (let's talk about millions).

Sell it for a shit ton of money, demand a statue and a hospital ward. People may be overpopulating, but there's still such a thing as natural selection, which will keep most of them at bay.

Destroy it. As you said, if everything was cured it would leave to over-population which leads to disaster, starvation, and economic ruin.
Also burn any materials related to the cure just to be safe.

I'd sell it to the world's governments, only after they agree to pass laws stating that populations of the world must be capped through various means regulating births, and only after all those laws have been passed and been accepted as unable to be withdrawn for at least fifty years after they are introduced. That way, the world's population will be regulated, and hopefully decrease by massive amounts naturally, regardless of the use of my miracle cure, and the human race isn't denied access to something so vital and fundamental. Everyone wins :D.
Actually, this is better. I'll do this instead.
Agleed.

I think that I would give it to the people, even if it would destroy the world by overpopulation. if thats the way of the world, we wont be able to change it anyway. (ok, a mass murderer might)

I'd make two viles, one for me and one for the highest bidder. I would never tell anyone how to replicate it, and the secret would die with me. Optionally, I'd also make two more secretly and keep one as a failsafe, and one I'd hide in a place almost impossible to reach.

Why would that necessarily lead to overpopulation? What makes you think that with the now greatly reduced medical costs, more money couldn't be invested into energy? Why don't you think that the rest of the world's governments couldn't handle this responsibly?

Why create a false dichotomy like this! D:

Of course I'd give it. It's a no-brainer. I'd just have to make sure people thought things through before they used it. Bind the governments into being careful with it.

Well either way it looks bad.
Oh well, money always did help quiet down my conscience.
