A PSP.

I have only enjoyed one game on it. (Chains of Olympus)
one game is all you need, that is...final fantasy dissidia

i can't tell you how many hours i poured into that game within a 3 week span, easily 100 hours, my psp battery was on fire at one point
Final Fantasy is, alas, not to my taste.

I got Crisis Core for it and hated it. I just found it so repetitive and dull.

I also tried the one with the blonde guy, Tidus. Hated it too, and him.

I can see why people love them but it just does nothing for me.
i can understand that, but take a look at dissidia, it is unlike any other final fantasy, it is a fast paced pure action/fighting game, it uses the psp controls to the fullest while having a super fighting/rpg hybrid (less rpg more fighting part)

at least take a look at gameplay videos and wahtnot, its cheap too im sure, probably 15-20 bucks if you buy it at a gamestore used

As you reacted in the least fanboyish way possible and without flaming, I will indeed check it out and watch some vids :)

I'm a huge sucker for artbooks, and have duped myself into purchasing collector's editions that in hindsight weren't really worth it.

Two things - MW2: Hardened Edition. I don't regret getting that, because I enjoyed MW2 and CoD Classic, but a few days after purchasing it, I saw it receive a £20 price cut from the website I bought it from.

Secondly, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot. It's awful. I remember saying to myself as I downloaded it 'it's not like I need another reason to play Borderlands.' I was given a reason not to.
I gave Mad Moxxi's the pass. But the other two DLC's come highly recommenced.
It is no exageration that Moxxi's Underdome Riot ruined Borderlands for me.

I actually regret none of my purchases. Not even Lair, since I got it for $5.

Guitar Hero: World Tour with the full band kit. I already had 2 guitars from GH II and III, and I had drums from Rock Band. Did I really need the realistic drums from GH: WT? No. Did I want it? Hell yes.

Should not have let the clerk at Gamestop talk me into going for the collector's edition of DJ Hero.

It'll go fast, he says. The extras will really improve the gameplay, it comes with a table to put the turntable controller on, and the controller itself if made of metal, so it'll be more durable and last longer, he says. It comes with a soundtrack CD, he says.

Now, don't get me wrong here, because I really did enjoy the game, but I also really regretted getting the collector's edition. To call the special controller gaudy would be an understatement of epic proportion, plus, it really doesn't seem that solid to me. The table/case that came with it actually makes a really bad controller stand (I now use it as a table to keep some of my houseplants on near the window so they can get plenty of light), and the CD that came with it (as opposed to containing any of the soundtrack or any of the songs I liked) was just a mix of some Eminim and Jay-Z songs. All in all, really really bad purchase. If I could go back in time, I'd pay extra money for the normal version, with the controller that doesn't look like it came out of some two bit rapper's wet dream.

My gaming rig, close to £1500. Then again I've a 32" LCD HDTV....and 5.1 Digital Dolby Surround Sound....

My Gaming Set-up, none of it is needed but all of it is loved like a child.
Yea...I recently got a new PC and it handles everything. On max. And still runs smooth.
And it's my little precious.
Me too, and I have absolutely no regrets about it :D

I had enough self control to wait for a price drop on it atleast :) It was $1500. It's an absolutely gorgeous 3d experience btw ;)

As a drummer who owns a real set, I actually prefer the Rock Band kit over the World Tour one. What you gain in realism with the 3d cymbals, you lose by only having two toms. No kit has only two toms. Plus, you can add the 3d cymbals to Rock Band with the Ion kit.

On the guitar side, I actually like them both equally. The Rockband one feels a little more guitary and the World Tour one has the accuracy. (not a real guitar player)
