Spent ~$500 to completely overhaul (CPU, Mobo, RAM, GPU) my PC over holiday about 2 years back. It was my first build so I didn't know much at the time. Looking back, I probably should have spent less on the RAM and bought Crucial instead. Could have used the leftover money to get slightly better graphics card.

The Xbox 360. Some backup system it turned out to be. I play that thing maybe once...a month while I've been playing the Nintendo Wii for nearly 4 years.
I'm going to say, at least the most expensive, was my collector's edition of RE5. At least I still use the "messenger bag" it came with.
