I've bought some games I was ashamed to own, play, and even returning them was a shameful journey. I will not name them here though, just too shameful.
Barbie Horse Adventures?

Hard to say, actually...
I seem to enjoy everything I decide to spend money on.
But if I have to choose, I'd say I've bought a few games I didn't quite enjoy as much as I hoped.

Gah it's so horrible! Why did I even buy it at full price!
You are not alone. I have the Gamecube one. The critics failed us on that one :(
Yep me too. It was the first time Nintendo power lied to me. Said it would of have been an awesome game

Two things - MW2: Hardened Edition. I don't regret getting that, because I enjoyed MW2 and CoD Classic, but a few days after purchasing it, I saw it receive a £20 price cut from the website I bought it from.

Secondly, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot. It's awful. I remember saying to myself as I downloaded it 'it's not like I need another reason to play Borderlands.' I was given a reason not to.
I got that beat. Picked up the ps3 literally days before the price cut rumours started.
Ouch dude. I would be so pissed if that sort of thing happened to me.

OT: Have to say that I regret my 360. I only have two games for it, and I only play one of them (Bayonetta.) should have used the money for the 360 on PC upgrades back when I got it.

I had enough self control to wait for a price drop on it atleast :) It was $1500. It's an absolutely gorgeous 3d experience btw ;)
*bawls into his computer* now i KNOW there is no chance that I'm never gonna have it. D' :
how i rue the fact that I am so poor.

I went on a binge and bought pretty much all the DLC for Dead Space when I got my first credit card.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to need 4 different types of the assault rifle. That makes perfect sense. -_-

Probably the Wii. I haven't played the thing since Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out which I didn't even think was worth all the hype.

It's killer apps are...

A.) One over-rated fighting game
B.) Mario 3 with 4 players
C.) A shitty version of Mario Kart DS.

I actually regret none of my purchases. Not even Lair, since I got it for $5.
I think they'd have to pay me to play Lair :)
I got it after the update that saved it, so I wasn't too disappointed. It was either that or a slice of cheesecake...so it would have lasted me about the same either way.

My Ps3. Just got it last week. I just went out to the shops to get a bite to eat for lunch and came back with a PS3 250gb hard drive, 6 games, and an HDMI cable...Felt guilty until I plugged it up and started playing, then it all just seemed to wash away.

If I buy a game and regret it, I trade it back for something I'll like. Mind you, that happens infrequently.

As far as hardware goes, I have no regrets at all.

A PSP.

I have only enjoyed one game on it. (Chains of Olympus)
one game is all you need, that is...final fantasy dissidia

i can't tell you how many hours i poured into that game within a 3 week span, easily 100 hours, my psp battery was on fire at one point
Final Fantasy is, alas, not to my taste.

I got Crisis Core for it and hated it. I just found it so repetitive and dull.

I also tried the one with the blonde guy, Tidus. Hated it too, and him.

I can see why people love them but it just does nothing for me.
i can understand that, but take a look at dissidia, it is unlike any other final fantasy, it is a fast paced pure action/fighting game, it uses the psp controls to the fullest while having a super fighting/rpg hybrid (less rpg more fighting part)

at least take a look at gameplay videos and wahtnot, its cheap too im sure, probably 15-20 bucks if you buy it at a gamestore used
As you reacted in the least fanboyish way possible and without flaming, I will indeed check it out and watch some vids :)
haha your welcome, i can see why someone would not like final fantasy at all, dont know what chemical make up in my head makes me, but i like the games, so i play them, but dissidia is a whole different experience from the normal games, so if you have any interest in super smash bros or games like that, i will almost garuntee you will like dissidia a bit, the style of fighting reminds me of it somewhat (just in 3D)

Sonic and the Secret Rings. I didn't really even want it, I only got it because I figured it was abot time for me to get a new game.
