Poll: Your reloading habits.

I used to reload after ever kill after i got used to counter-strike.

First of all, let me say this: I fucking love reloading passionately. Every once in a while, I will shoot a bullet into the air just so that I can reload again. Something about the animations, or the basic concept, or SOMETHING just makes it so much fun for me. Even when I shot a 9mm in real life, that was my favorite part of it all. I wish that game developers would make 10 or 15 different reload animations for every gun, so that I could jack off to my character slapping around that sexy little M4 of his. I am fucking weird, aren't I.

I find pistol reloads to be the most sexy

For killing floor, generally when I'm running away to round all the zeds up. In tf2, I reload midfight, as the syringegun reloads ultra-fast. I always reload on at least a halfclip, since you can fire mid-reload if someone comes.

I don't reload. I don't Run out of Ammo. Bullets just come naturally from my sweat. Because I'm a MAN! Now I have to go an punch a BEAR and have sex with my WOMAN and then get my NINJA belt. Yeah! Woo!

Ladies and gentlemen of the Escapist, this is the kind of person the rest of us hide behind and use as cover/human shields while we reload (don't worry, their sheer manliness means that they are incapable of feeling pain, to them it just appears as someone giving them a soothing foot rub...in the area affected of course).

Back on topic though, I personally have a habit of reloading after every kill (which has itself killed me when I get abushed by the griefing friend of the aforementioned bad guy).

Whenever I don't carry a full clip, and there's an opportunity to do so. Still, with LMG's for example, I only reload when I have less than 10% of the bullets, 'cause it takes so long.

I chose when it's safe, but I also reload after every kill sometimes, it depends.

I'm always a sniper in whatever I'm playing so right after a kill unless I'm using a semi-auto rifle.

I usually only reload when I think I am safe, although my judgment on what situations are safe and what are not can be a bit off sometimes. Also, it depends on the gun, as some guns take only a second to reload and some take like, 20 minutes.

I've fallen into the habit of reloading after every kill, which is very bad in cases with a lot of enemies, or in games that don't consolidate ammo, but I also like having my gun fully loaded some I'm not caught in the crossfire reloading while enemies X, Y, and Z all close in on me and my damn empty clip!

I reload either

a) when it is wise to do so (which means if i am not currently busy murdering people)
b) i don't have any ammo in my gun and switching to another weapon has a higher probability to get my ass kicked than take my chancce to reload.

Anyone not doing this is a weird fighter... eh i mean gamer

Of course there is the problem to recognize the right moments and accuratly guess what your foes are doing...

I don't spend my entire clip on one or two enemies so I usually can find some downtime to reload. I just hide behind a box or something to reload and hope no one can see me or huck a grenada my way.

It depends whether there's more than one enemy and how many shots I have left.
But generally I do reload right after a kill.

unfortunately i've made a habit out of pressing reload after EVERY SHOT!
needless to say its' gotten me killed more than once
