All the time. Any time there's the slightest lull I reload.

My girlfriend can't stand it when I play with her cause I'm constantly shouting at her to reload all the time.

I reload as often as possible, but only when I'm sure I'm not gonna get shot righht after I hit the button.

In reality I can keep track of how many shots I have in a game I reload more than I shoot.

I suffer from compulsive reloading. On CoD, even if I'm using something like an RPD, I will reload after a kill, even if I still have 40+ bullets left. It's that bad. I've been slotted many a time because I'm busy reloading. Fortunately, I usually stick to SMGs and Sleight of Hand, so it's not a major concern.

Well, if I'm in the middle of a fight, then I'll reload as necessary. I have a habit of picking weapons with woefully small clips (sawnoffs, grenade launchers, you know the drill), so I'm actually willing to reload in the middle of a firefight if needs be. It tends to kill me, but I'll do it.

If I'm on my way to a fight, then I have a tendency to pull out whatever weapon gives me the most superfluous ammo and hold down R and M1, just so that I get to reload a few billion times. Please tell me I'm not the only one that does that...

I reload after a kill, unless there is more than one enemy in sight. So I went for the second option since it's the most obvious one. There aren't that many situations where you're confronted with only one enemy.

i have the reload tick, i have to compulsively reload all the time. kill an enemy; reload. Shoot at something that i thought was an enemy but wasnt; reload.
Walking in an empty area; reload.

You see where i'm going with this.

Depends really. In CoD4 for example, if I have an MP5 and can get a quick clean 4-5 shot kill, I won't reload right after. If I spend more than 1/3rd of my clip, I reload any weapon except RPD or maybe M40A3/.50 Cal. I used to reload after every kill, but sometimes that will get you killed.

Depends, really. I don't really think about it, I guess. I'll reload if theres a lull in the fighting, but also right after a kill... it all depends on just how much ammo I used. If I only used like say, a quarter of a decent sized mag, I don't bother reloading till I kill a few more enemies.

When I use any light machine gun other than the AUG HBAR (Which shouldn't really be classified as a LMG anyway) I don't bother with reloading. I'll usually just pick up something else real quick from the ground or switch to my secondary. I usually get 7-10 kills with one RPD mag, anyway. (Burst-fire ftw.)

This describes my answer the best. I always reload after every kill unless there is still more enemies in front of me.

Straight after a kill which is annoying as hell when there is an enemy behind you that you didnt see until after you started reloading.

As bad as this sounds: I always try to keep the amount of ammo I have left dividable to the amount of bullets my gun has left. Like for instance, if a sub-machine gun I'm running around with carries 32 bullets, I'll always try to make sure I have the number of bullets left to be dividable by 32 into a whole number. This is really to ensure I don't end up with any less than a full clip with the final magazine.

Sometimes I'll reload early if I anticipate a lot of enemies or a boss, but then I'll compensate by reloading at the right time so the amount of ammo left is dividable by the amount of bullets in a magazine. It's probably something not recommended and it's really out of my own obsession about having a full final clip.

This. Its especially awful in CoD when using the Scar-H. That gun is awesome, but has such a small mag. I've gotta get the Extended Mags back...
