Radiohead have dissappeared completely up thier own collective asshole in recent years.
I hate when great bands like radiohead jump the shark like that. The worst thing is it ruins their great early stuff.
Yep.

Though the Bends and OK Computer will always be two of my favorite headphone albums.

There are the obvious ones... Jonas Brothers, Green Day, U2 (How can someone who does so much humanitarian work still be such a dick?), any crap expounded by Disney really... I'm also not a fan of Nirvana.

I know for a fact im going to get a lot of criticism here, but me and my friend cannot figure out why the band Led Zeppelin is as big as they are. They wrote good music, yes. But to us it doesnt seem like they did anything out of the ordinary. They're good, but overrated.
I think it's cause they're one of the pioneers of heavy metal.

At the time their music was unique in the music industry.
Get your facts straight dude, Zeppelin weren't really the pioneers of metal, Black Sabbath were!! Zeppelin were ROCK!! Bluesey, folksey ROCK!.
Not as good as the Who though...
That's more of an opinion than a fact.

Some of Zep's stuff is just as metal as Sabbath (Immigrant Song, Achilles Last Stand)

Green Day.

Just... just no... their too fake-happy
They actually were pretty good at one time. They have since been infected with the post-90s suck virus.

Bands I hate...where do I start? My 1# figure of hate has to be Kid Rock. He's such a fake, wannabe, music-stealing tool. What he did to legitimate music like Sad But True (he stole the ENTIRE riff) is shameful. There are a lot of bands I don't like but will admit I respect as artists, but Kid Rock is just so vomit-inducing bad.

Talent - just fake it.

How do you hate a band "on principle"? That doesn't even make sense, that just sounds like you're hating something just for the sake of hating it.
It makes perfect sense. While I don't hate the music of the likes of Nirvana and Sonic Youth, I hate them for what they stand for. Sonic Youth for totally undermining the riot grrrl movement and everything it stood for, and Nirvana because of the members. Both individually and as a whole. The band was Kurt Cobain, let's not piss around the bush. Dave Grohl doesn't recognise this and thinks he has some kind of god given right to be a dick because Kurt picked him out of a lineup to play the drums in his band. He has no talent and Courtney Love had more input into Nirvana than he did. Kurt Cobain was bareable, if only just, but the second he shot himself (AND YES HE DID SHOOT HIMSELF) it was like every Nirvana fan took leave of their senses and blamed everyone but Kurt for his death because he was the second coming and anyone who doesn't agree is clearly an idiot. He was fucking depressed, let it go.
You say you hated the band on principle, but as you just said, Kurt "was" the band, so by saying that you're arguments about Grohl and Love are irrelevant. So you must by your own admission hate Kurt Cobain "on principle" which confuses me.
What? I just explained why I don't like Nirvana ffs. "While I don't hate the music of the likes of Nirvana and Sonic Youth, I hate them for what they stand for." As I said, Nirvana stand for being melodramatic, they introduced Grohl to the world and they were the first band to have fanboys. Whining little things that bleed out of their collective vagina any time anyone says anything negative about them. They made some good tunes though. Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle for example.
Sorry, I'm being too harsh on you. Your profile says your from Portsmouth and I know they don't teach literacy at either end of the M27. :p

If a Dallas resident, google 102.1 The Edge. If anywhere else in the states, google any local Clear Channel station (that's the company that is destroying music in America, no hyperbole).

But off the top of my head, AFI, Adam Lambert, 3 Day's Grace and all the other bands with singers who think they're Maynard James Keenan, anything on a "country" station, anything on the "hip-hop" station, and anything on the bubblegum pop/candy-raver station. Can ya tell I don't like the radio?

Oh, and Nickleback's singer sounds like he's defecating.

Jonas Brothers, Green Day, U2 (just because of Bono's egotistical @$$), and Fallout Boy. They just suck the enjoyment out of music.
U2 nearly bankrupted themselves at the end of the 80's keeping ticket prices down and donating to charities, and Bono still has power to bring peace to places when "legitimate" world leaders fail, which he has done several times.

But hey, if you're a musician and you try to make the world a better place, there's always gonna be idiots who call you self-righteous for it.

Sigh.

Not a U2 fan myself, but I gotta say that Kanye West deserves more ire for his ego then anyone else in like...the world.

"Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time (in my opinion, and only my opinion matters because I'm a lyrical wordsmith motherfucking genius)!"

Me: Your also a gay fish.

Too right, they're talented kids but the whole purity ring thing is stupid. It's a good Christian symbol but they're using it to sell records.

You need to hear Aenema, everything off that album is good. The newer stuff is also good but not nearly as good as Aenema. I didn't like them at first either.

Nickelback, Linkin Park, Panic at the Disco, Green Day, Lil' Wayne, or just about anything played on the radio these days. I hate this new era of music filled with endless waves of repetitive bands and artists screeching into microphones, or just yelling unintelligible nonsense.
Tell 'em, Moby!

Christian rock sells for some reason, and also those guys seem make VAlerie GINAstri's "business" all soft and tingly <_<

Caps are obviously meant like that... in case the reborn retarded 11 year old walks by :/

Every time I hear a song from these pricks or a themesong from HSM 1, 2, 3 or 15^38.223 it makes my blood curdle, my eyes spout blood, and my anus to unevidently selfcombust, effectively leading me to the nearest surgeon who will have to try and save my horror riddled body and mind.

Yes, I hate them. It may be biased bs suck this hate, but hate nontheless :)
