Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers, O good lord. My poor ears could barely take it when I listened to the crap

and slightly OT but: Lady Gaga WTF how someone like him/her(idk which so screw it) ever got signed much less a fanbase/following is entirely beyond me
Let's anylise the name for clues as to what gender this "lady gaga" person is.

Let's see.... Lady gaga.

Now that wasn't so hard, was it?
I know right!? It's not like transexuals, transvestites, etc. don't take female names. That'd just be silly right!? Nope! Never! They sure don't!

EDIT: On topic, I have a special place in my heart for my hatred of Nirvana, and of course 95% of all pop music.

I have a hard time putting something down for this...
My reasoning is that, to be considered an actual band, they have to put out stuff that actually has a right to be called music. Which (in my opinion, at least) eliminates about 99% of all the popular "bands" they have today.

I don't know if they are still considered popular but I gotta say Guns n Roses. Almost every person I know who likes rock or metal loves that band and I think they are all nuts.

Grounogeos, you fiend! You stole my answer!

Seriously though, I've been ninja'ed way too many times to mention anything else... except maybe Chris Brown and any so called "Deep South" rappers. (Big Tymers, Lil' Wayne, etc)

These threads are fairly redundant, you know. There are an assload of "bad music" topics and all of them are exactly the same - Jonas Brothers, Green Day, Nickelback and *insert something modern here* are the most common entries. If you would really like to find out what other bands people despise or don't like, use the monkey-fighting search bar. And if you are adamant that strangers from around the world must know what band you hate, practice the dark art of necromancy on another decayed thread. Clogging the system with "Jonas FTL" isn't healthy for anyone.

Bob Dylan

I just don't think he is really that good. His "singing" sucks too.

EDIT: also any band that can't think of anything else to write about than relationships,ex girlfriends, sex, or "love".

I mean seriously can you get any less original? Did you actually think about what to write, or did you just want to shit out another record?

Jonas Brothers, Green Day, U2 (just because of Bono's egotistical @$$), and Fallout Boy. They just suck the enjoyment out of music.
This, except I like some of Green Day's older music. I know its nothing amazing, but sometimes its the simple things that hit the hardest.

Oh god here we go;
Nickelback (the radio killed it for me before I liked them with "Someday" and "Rock Star")
Anything Disney shit out since... ever (need I say more)
Country (god just shoot me)
Rap (then burn my body)
Hip-Hop (it's always about fucking chicks and having money)
Any music with screaming it in (last time I checked singing was a requirement to be music and have some talent)
Boybands (just to make the tween girls happy and it's the same shit over and over again)
Lady Gaga (learn to sing you *****)
Modest Mouse (I'd much rather be deaf then have to hear them at all)
What I call poser punk (simple plan, thank god they broke up, Good Charlotte, and the worst Avril Lavigne, I want to rip out her vocal cords so I never have to hear her EVER AGAIN)
Hillary Duff (see Disney)
I"m sure I have more and thank god I don't listen to the radio any more or allot of shit would have been ruined for me.

You consider The Beatles too depressing? If anything they're sickeningly cheerful. And fucking terrible. I also absolutely despise anything Metallica released from Load onwards. And anything by Nickleback. And basically everything by Theory of a Deadman (painful as it is to admit, By The Way is actually a decent song). And obviously The Jonas Brothers etc.

ALL OF THEM.
No, but seriously: U2, Aha (popular here in Norway at least), Killswitch Engage, Jonas Brothers (do they even qualify as a real band?) and most other bands from this millennium.

Radiohead. Please get a good vocalist and write good music for a change.
Slipknot. Wake me up when they quit ripping off death metal and actually write original material for more rednecks for a change.
Hatebreed. Ignorant music. Enough said.
Limp Bizkit. Greatest atrocity since Dresden.

Pretty much anything that's been mainstream popular in the last 10 years.

Though if you're talking about bands that aren't just some passing fad that the tween demographic will love and have put all over the radios for 2 months and then never talk about again, The Beatles and Pink Floyd. And I wouldn't say I dislike Zeppelin but the cult following they've gained makes them worth mentioning.

A lot of people say this. I actually liked Death Magnetic, it's a lot like their old stuff. I wasn't a fan of load, but reload was ok (though admittedly I liked it for different reasons) Just out of curiosity, is Hetfield's "New" voice part of the reason you don't like the newer stuff or is it purely because it's not as heavy? Just curious, because I thought the S&M album was really fucking awesome and some of the older, heavier songs sounded a lot better with the updated singing style.
