Popular games that you could never get into

I know I'm going to get shit for this but Psychonauts.

I just did not like that game.

Psychonaut was ever popular? I didn't hear about it until the Zero Punctuation review...

Company of Heroes (don't know if that is really popular, but it got good ratings).
Bioshock, I've tried several times, but I can't get that far before I quit.
GTA 4. I think playing Saints Row 2 first ruined that for me somewhow. I got the feel of not having to respond phone calls about some whiny jerk or going bowling before I first played it so that might be my own fault.
Harvest Moon a Wonderful Life. Really, I like Harvest Moon, but that game just got confusing when it came in 3D.

I never liked a single one of them, not on multiplayer, singleplayer or anything.

Also, Ratchet and Clank was never particularly interesting to me at all.

Half-Life 1/2, they're just so mediocre. Psychonauts was just boring after the first 30 minutes and Bioshock was meh.

Before someone calls me out for not liking these games, it's my opinion.

Gears of war: finished it (almost by accident it was so short) but just didn't "get" it though it did tick all the boxes, if felt like a game "playing by numbers" without even as much depth as Classic Doom.

Final Fantasy 7, 8 and X: seriously... this is the height of video game narrative? I liked parts of FF7, maybe it just aged poorly, I really want to give FF9 another go and I hear it's coming to PSP soon so maybe...

Borderlands (I just couldn't get into it)
Oblivion (I found it vastly inferior to Fallout 3 and Mass effect /flamesuit on)
Army of Two (Gears of War and I didn't even like that game very much)
Gears of War (I have a hard time getting into this one)
Modern warfare 2 (I just can't bring myself to play multi-player for more than half an hour)
Before anyone flames me I really, really tried to get into these games but just couldn't do it.

What are your guys least favorite popular games

Well with Oblivion is came out BEFORE Fallout 3 or Mass effect so yeah...

Mass Effect.
The atmosphere and story were phenomenal. It just wasn't very much fun.

Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2. I was really surprised when the first one skyrocketed. When I played the first one I honestly couldn't distinguish it from any of the other "war-torn middle eastern country with regenerating health" FPSs that come down like the rain. the second one didn't change enough to make it interesting for me.

Also, Gears of War. the people move too slow and the bullets seem to move at 1/100th of their actual speed, leading to frustrating situations when you try to hit a moving target.

next, LittleBigPlanet. booooooooooooooooooooooring. at least super mario galaxy was challenging

finally, ANY mmo. boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring. they seem to have the mirror opposite effect of "soul-stealingly addictive" to me
