Possible Halo 4 Plot? My hairbrained idea on the future of Halo.

I don't really care where it came from. IT'S MASTER CHIEF WITH A JETPACK!
And in all honesty there probably going to say its a Orbital Drop Pack used to lessen the fall from orbital drop offs with no pods but he is just using it as a jetpack in space.

Back on the old Halo games you could fall forever and hit the ground running. So why stop at orbital drops? I mean, if Noble 6 can survive falling form orbit, but he dies falling off a 50 foot drop. Hold on...

Well the only reason that Noble 6 didn't die was because he had some sort of re-entry pack which could be seen in the beginning of the game. And I realized that its not a jetpack but a thruster built into his armor that allows him to move with little problem in Zero-G. It was standard in all Spartan's armor.

Ugh, when I saw that stupid trailer (no offense, I actually am a bit of a Halo fan) I kept asking myself who the hell he would be fighting this time around and eventually I just decided to pretend he's going to team up with the guys from Red vs. Blue.

The trailer did kinda suck. But it is just a teaser trailer. And if he did team up with the guys from Red vs. Blue it would be epic.

As I have been saying. From what I can tell the side arm seems to be a single shot, explosive dart gun. Kinda like the tracer gun used by sniper class in Battlefield Bad Company mutliplayer, except they explode instead of giving a location of an enemy.

Three weapons. One of them IS a pistol. But he grabs the weapon in the middle.

Screenshot shows all. That is NOT a pistol. Due the the way the weapon is being held right now and looks, it looks exactly the same was an stock-less Uzi is held.

I know he grabs the weapon from the middle but still, the Halo games has weird weapons. I wasn't aware however of the 2 other weapons. But if you watch the gun after it is fired it opens up much like a single shot dart gun. I would post a pic of it but I don't know how to do so on these forums. And don't get me wrong I understand where you are coming from, I just disagree that it is a Uzi. Halo already basically has an Uzi, its the SMG. xP

Actually, the Specialist class in Bad Company has the dart gun. I once saw a guy covered in them and he looked like a Christmas decoration

People keep asking why Chief had a jetpack, yet they conveniently ignore the fact that MJOLNIR Mk V armor used in reach can be augmented with different abilities to make it SUPERIOR to the MK VI armor used by Chief in Halo 2 and 3. Does anyone else notice this or is it just me?

That was because Halo: Reach took place on the same planet that ONI is located on, meaning that UNSC forces had easy access to experimental tech.

O I agree. But that is not a pistol. Just want to settle that. Pistols aren't normally designed to be held like Sub machine guns lol. I meant to say it looks like an Uzi. I'm also betting that it's a one shot gun too judging from the fact that he grabbed another round to put on it.

For those who didn't read Halo: Ghost of Onyx, get of your arse and go read it. It talks about the spartan threes and how other spartan twos and Dr. Halsey got trapped inside a planet. SPOILER ALERT!!!

IIRC Master Chief looks like hes entering a Forrunner shield world that's described in Ghosts of Onyx.

For those who didn't read Halo: Ghost of Onyx, get of your arse and go read it. It talks about the spartan threes and how other spartan twos and Dr. Halsey got trapped inside a planet. SPOILER ALERT!!!

I was reading it. Thanks for putting *Spoilers* at the end and not at the beginning like a normal person does. You just ruined the book for me.

Bias isn't going to be the villain. He was atoning for his sins for betraying the fore-runners by helping the chief.

That thing he's being sucked into? That's the PLANET he was orbiting in my theory.

My guess is that large marathon symbol on the left opened up upon detecting the frigate.

Looks kinda like the Halo version of the Death Star, lol =P But that would/could be kinda cool though.. Also, by marathon do you mean the Bungie series, Marathon? Because that would be a cool little tribute.

Anyways, for it to tie into the existing Halo Universe at all, it would HAVE to do with the Forerunners in some way, as well as introducing an entirely new enemy to face. Sure, there may be a few renegade covenant groups remaining, but the covenant as a whole is effectively a non-threat by this point. So we shall see! I really, really, really want to like the new trilogy, but there's a part of me that's deathly afraid it's just a cash-in. i REALLY hope it's good.

I never said it was an actually pistol. I said it was single shot explosive dart round.
