So... why are we worried? Won't all the zombies just disappear when they hit the ground, thus eliminating the problem? And obviously they won't be able to dismember us. This is Australia remember!

Edit: Shit ninja'd like 5 times. Oh well. It wasn't on the first 2 pages.

This is why they should have banned L4D2 outright, its influenced some poor good man with its dark gameplay and made him into a zombie!
yeah but we all thought the bodies would just dissapear and the lack of blood led us to believe that the zombies couldnt hurt us either

on a positive note theres randomly fulled chainsaws and katanas lying around all over the place

plus we have a one up do you know how many cricket bats we have out here zombies dont stand a chance

I knew it would happen to them first.

Off to Antarctica!
No, to Madagascar, the virus won't make it there, it never does.
But Zombies don't have any body-heat, they can't survive in Antarctica!
There already dead - what they going to do freeze? & if they do freeze they will just come back when they defrost!
Its Antarctica, it stays a pretty constant temperature of below freezing I believe. So when they freeze they don't defrost.
Antarctica does have a summer season of about 3 months if you follow the link you will see!

Is that so? Well, maybe you've read more on the topic than me, so what do I know?

In any case, as uninterested as I generally am when it comes to zombies and zombie-related stuff, that is an interesting question right there. And why not try it? I mean, it might give you the opportunity to get an important insight into how the outbreak can be contained/reversed... it worked in I Am Legend, right? (And yes, I'm counting those things as zombies.)
Milwaukee Protocol that's what its called, I just remembered it's quite interesting stuff, sedation, fluids and antivirals:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milwaukee_protocol

So what I hate is the one bite no hope scenarios movies give us, in the real worlds we have massive broad spectrum antivirals, which for example in the case of blood to blood contact with HIV can prevent it if early enough. So if a person was bitten by a zombie and took these immediately after the bite, as well as sterilizing the wounds they might have a fighting chance of beating the zombie virus.

The best scenario would be massive antivirals as soon as possible, sedation and restrainment and fluids. Then waiting it out.

It's only Australia.
Woah woah woah woah woah... First of all, I'm in Australia. And, Yahtzee. And Shamus Young. And probably others. So if we go, so does a fair chunk of content. Just, get us out and I don't care. At least then I could play uncensored games at a fair price.

I think the important issue here is, if Australia is wiped out by it's own localized zombie apocalypse, can the rest of us go back to using it as a dumping ground for prisoners?
Dumping prisoners on a Zombie filled Island. hum, i got an idea. How about the prisoners that are still alive after 5 weeks gets all charges dropped?
No, we make it a reality show. We could even put "hunters" in as well, who go in by choice... With guns... Like bounty hunters. Oh, and, one day, we could have gamers controlling robots. Yeah.

idea for a zombie movie? Global heating melts the poles, unfreezing all the zombies that were put there because they didn't have any other way to fully finish them...
AHA a ideal B movie zombie flick combining disaster movies, global warming & zombies, what caused mass extinctions in the past....ZOMBIES

Imagine a lone research station in Antarctica studying climate change discover human remains in the defrosting ice taking it back to there base it wakes up to attack, a lone survivor is air lifted out suffering from exposure & bite marks....think The Thing with zombies ^_^

Imaging escapist anti-zombie team.
That picture's just incredible beyond words.
On the brightside we'd all know how to single handly own an army of zombies without a problem. The benefits of gaming had to pay off sooner or later.

Hmm, better get out the guide and checklists. And sign up for practice at the range.

Good thing I got the zombie survival guide for Christmas.

Well, if there was one place that was a suburb of hell, what with Dark Lord of the Evil Micheal Atkinson and his Gaming Policies of Satanicness, I guess it'd be Australia. A reasonable place for the outbreak to begin, right?
