I found that the PC version of DA:O was much better than the console version. I'm a tactics freak, though.curty129 said:No, they were actually really boring. The gameplay itself. Mass effect and DA:O had wonderful storylines (from what I've heard), but the gameplay, although good, was just far too repetitive in DA:O's case, and just not satisfying in Mass Effect's.Merkavar said:Trollie McTroll trollKajt said:Mass Effect, Dragon Age: Origins, Diablo and Diablo II come to mind. You bought the game on 360.Sakurazaki1023 said:Jonny49 said:Activates Flame Shield
Mass Effect.
Boring. Just so boring. Couldn't bring myself to play beyond the first level.Oh Thank God...Kajt said:Mass Effect, Dragon Age: Origins, Diablo and Diablo II come to mind. Horribly boring games.
I bought the 360 version of Mass Effect on a whim. I figured that since everyone seems to consider it the greatest game ever released in terms of interactive storytelling, it couldn't be that bad (a lesson I apparently failed to learn from Fallout 3). I've played through the first Chapter, and I'm completely unimpressed. The menu's are really unintuitive, the combat is boring and repetitive, there are some really bad technical problems, the human models are just down right ugly, and the conversation system is really shallow.
I really don't see what all the hype is about...
I rented it and thought it was pretty fun...then I bought it, popped it in the PS3 and face-palmed...It isn't a bad game...it's just...lacking.Corpse XxX said:Borderlands!
Yeah I somewhat agree. I haven't played that game in at least two weeks. The Great Googly said:Medal of Honor a couple weeks ago. Terrible purchase
I bought them at the same time. They were bloody cheap and I had heard lots of praise for them, so I thought it would be worth it.-snip-
I enjoyed Borderlands and the Fallout games.VegetaPrinceofSaiyans said:-snip-
Probably beating a dead horse here, although I can understand your dislike for Diablo, D2 and DA:O. All three were really similar so it's understandable that if you didn't like one, you wouldn't like the other two.Kajt said:Mass Effect, Dragon Age: Origins, Diablo and Diablo II come to mind. I got confused.. Baldur's Gate 2 had a subname.Eponet said:Baldur's Gate 2 had a second expansion?Yggdraz0r said:Baldur's Gate 2. With (1 or both expansions, probably both not sure) for 20 euro's.
Deinstalled it within 5 minutes <_<
Managed to sell it on ebay a few months ago.. half the money I got for it was spent sending it.

I guess I missed it.
But it's an RPG. You spend the ENTIRE GAME walking around in nothing but different shades of gray and brown. You kill monsters that are gray and brown. You talk to people who are gray and brown. I didn't make me want to explore it, because it's all the same. The Jakeinator said:So you didn't like it because it was Gray and Brown.skywalkerlion said:Fallout 3.
It was technically a birthday present and after playing for an hour I immediately realized I hated the setting and atmosphere(Welcome, Wastelander, to the world of INFINITE GRAYS AND BROWNS!!)
Felt so bad for making my parents buy me it.
I don't like vegetables but I eat them anyway.
This is also my most quickly regretted purchase. It didn't even come with a decent keyboard or mouse. As for games it's Borderlands! For being nothing but a boring grind! With no story, and a stupidly tedious final boss!VicunaBlue said:My iMac, after I realized that that I just pared an extra $1000 for shiny-ness.
