I fight by oppertunity and observation. I'm 6 foot 3 so I use my height and relative strength against smaller folks. Against bigger people I will use agility which I have a lt of actually. I fight dirty and without rules and I'm most effective with some kind of blunt object.

Hmm I don't know I've never been in a fight but I've taken 2 years of taekwondo.....which I have completely forgotten but in the end who needs to fight when you have a gun.

Oh.
I've never heard an emergency room called an A&E.

But sure, we could hang out there.
Like I said, dunno why I called it that.

Scaremongering about stuff and yeah...

I do not know how to fight outside of a smattering of things my friend has taught me and what I learned in Jail.

Accident and emergency?

If I ever decide to lower my standards and date, I will take my lady to the emergency room in tribute to this conversation.
And also because I personally would find it hilarious.
I don't think this conversation requires a tribute.
The poor girl wouldn't understand, and I'm not sure that an emergency room is a prime date location.

Well clearly.
Traumatizing the ones you love is one of the greatest parts of love.
To quote a webcomic: "We hurt the ones we love. Let me love you."
It's a sentiment I hold dear to my blackened heart even to this day - to truly harm someone, you must love them in order to feel their pain to the greatest extent, thereby enjoying it.

Actually I just made all of that up right now, but whatever (except the comic quote.)
I think I understand.
Now it's my turn to say it!
...Interesting.

Yea i can fight if needs be, i need to be quite provoked into it tho, or have no other choice.

In Primary 5 i fought 5 guys in my class, it lasted bout 5 min and it only stopped when a teacher came over to put an end to it.

Although i only fought all five of them because my no good mates did a runner and i got kinda surrounded.

All i did was give each of them a good punch and a kick then moved on to the next one, two bloody noses, a broken pair of specks, a few soon to be shiners later and five minutes later it was over, none of the above of which was mine.

My Best fight to date, even my mum said she was proud of me for standing up for myself like that......the school didn't see it that way mind you.

Knowing how to fight in theory is different than actually getting in a scrap. Those kids that were put into little karate classes by their folks might be taught fancy-smancy moves, but in the real world it's all about striking first and making sure thats all you need. In other words, hit 'em in the jibblies.

I've been doing shotokan karate for about a year (7th kyu)
I teach it part time ^_^

Whens your next grading?
Autumn, I think. Just tested for orange in May. Gotta find out what's on the next test (besides Heian Sandan, which I think I'll do all right).
Depending ont he centre thats teaching you, it's a different order, but most likely Heian Godan. Good luck with that ^^
I didn't think I'd do Heian Godan for a while. Not until I've tested Sandan and Yondan, at least.

Actually, I didn't even know there was a fifth one. The place I train doesn't have anyone in between 6th and either 2nd or 1st kyu (in our color ranking, half the class is blue and lower, the other half is one brown and several black), so aside from the advanced stuff, I've only seen up to Yondan.
