"Who is but a form, following the function of what; and what I am is a man in a mask,"

"Forrest Gump: Hello. I'm Forrest, Forrest Gump.
Recruit Officer: Nobody gives a hunky shit who you are, pus ball. You're not even a low-life, scum-sucking maggot. Get your ass on the bus, you're in the army now!"
-Forrest Gump.

"Randall: This job would be great if it weren't for the fucking customers." - Clerks.

"Ben Croshaw: As evil as the real Nazis were, it seems they weren't evil enough for the developers, so the accuracy's a little skewed against them. And then it's skewed a little bit more. And then it's put into a thumbscrew until it resembles a slinky. I'm no historian, but I'm pretty sure there wasn't an elite unit of stormtroopers who wore gas masks, wielded miniguns and could take three sniper bullets to the forehead before they died. And I'm also pretty sure the Nazis didn't have a gigantic armored concrete tower that can only be described as a doom fortress."

My main thing which I live by is my belief that guys look fucking stupid in cardigans. I know a lot of guys (I believe it's the current fashion) who wear these women's jumpers and they look so ridiculous it actually makes me angry. Women wear cardigans, men wear sweaters/hoodies, that's just how it should be. So I believe I'll get through life just fine so long as I never wear a bloody cardigan
I love you

"An Eye for an Eye leaves the whole world blind" - Ghandi

"He that is without sin among you, cast the first stone" - Jesus

"It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man."" - Jesus

"The problem with having an open mind, you see, is that people insist and coming along and putting things in it" - Terry Pratchett (Actually, literally anything this man has ever said is my No. 1 Favourite Quote of All Time)

"we pledge our best efforts to help them help themselves, for whatever period is required -- not because the Communists may be doing it, not because we seek their votes, but because it is right" - President Kennedy

And my most imporant quote, the one that, in times of anger, confusion and utter exasperation with the stupidty and evil of other men, sheds me of all grief in an instant

"He who throws the first punch, has already lost the fight" - Me. I was really damn stoned with my best friend on a 3 hour walk home. We talked about that for about 1 hour, in awe. I was so happy to wake up sober and still think it's not bad.

Voltaire said:
"All this was indispensably necessary," replied the one-eyed doctor, "for private misfortunes are public benefits; so that the more private misfortunes there are, the greater is the general good."

While he was arguing in this manner, the sky was overcast, the winds blew from the four quarters of the compass, and the ship was assailed by a most terrible tempest, within sight of the port of Lisbon.
I'm reading Candide right now and I'm absolutely loving it. It's actually made me laugh several times which is surprising for a book.

Also, it's hardly a quote... it's just an excerpt from a book... but I find it hilarious and felt the need to share it. I love Voltaire... I'm certain that he and I would get along.

I can't tell you how many times I've used that quote. It's just so... perfect. And my favorite part about it is that He actually was without sin but decided not to... eh, I don't know. Just reading some of the stuff that He said is like nothing else. I don't care if you're a Christian or not, there's no denying the truth in that.

-Drizzt Do'Urden

"When you can't win in a fight, sometimes you have to settle for making sure that if you lose, everyone loses. It works for nuclear weapons; it works for me."
- Michael Weston

"Pwangg?" Trees don't go "Pwangg--" Llamas don't go "Pwangg--" Nothing found in nature goes "Pwangg", which means -- we're officially hip deep in the smelly stuff."
-Deadpool

Vermouth (disguise): "Why did you save me? Why?"
Shinichi: "Is a reason nesessary? I don't know why you would kill someone. But as for saving someone... A logical mind isn't needed, right?"
