He could never get STAB from Wing Attack. He's Bug/Steel, not Flying. Get Bug Bite, then you'll see a real Technician Scizor. 112.5 base damage (Technician+STAB), 100% accuracy, 20 base PP, and bonus berry effect if the enemy is carrying one.Biosophilogical said:

Err, Scizor is a hard-hitting guy. Technician+STAB makes him able to dish out serious pain, not to mention his high attack stat. Pretty quick for a steel, too. He's one of the hardest-hitting non-Legendaries/Pseudo-Legendaries.FollowUp said:

Scyther/Scizor. Atleast Scyther looks awesome but I've never really had him do any damage, I just kept him 'cause I loved him.

Dragon types being weak to only Dragon and Ice-based attacks and Steel types resisting Dragon and Ice based attacks, though it'd probably have to have some kind of statisical weakness if it were to have no attack type weakness. I'd find a picture of Mecha-Godzilla stomping Pikachu into the ground and put it up here, but then I might be over-doing it a bit.
Also on the wish list is if they'll make a powerful Dragon-type attack that has 5 uses or the like. Something around the idea of it being called Dragon Flare and having attack power similar to Hyper Beam.
I really like the pokemon Cloyster.
But it take a long time to train and evolve Shellder at a decent level for which to evolve it at. (Evolved mine after it learn ice Beam at Lv.49) The problem is, after all that work Cloyster still sucks. It's got a really weak Sp. defense and poor speed. It's also weak to 6 different elements, which makes the pokemon significantly worse when it has virtually no speed.

I always liked Scyther better than Scizor, firstly because I never had anyone to trade with so I never could get one and secondly because (unless I'm mistaken) Scyther is faster than Scizor (and it ahs a high enough attack that I'd rather have speed than an extra attack bonus). Well then im able to give you good news again. Dialga is a steel dragon type, he is the main legendary for Diamond version. and he is the only one with the move Roar of Time. which has the same he must rest after use, side effect and with a power of 150, accuracy at 90% and only 5 pp. it is kinda like hyper beam. THo Dilaga is the only one that can learn it. so i guess thats a two for one deal there.CrazyCapnMorgan said:
I would have to say, my favorite two Pokemon that sorta suck (at least from what I have seen) is Mawile and Castform. Sure weather ball is powerful after you used rain dance or hail or something but by the time that i successfully used a weather condition and readied the move he was already knocked out! Castform's stats are atrocious. Mawile on the other hand has meh' stats and has no good moves. All that its used for nowadays is stat reduction. Sure from G4 it has iron head to help it out a bit but since EVERYONE (almost) carries around a friggin' Infernape its useless! I've never looked too deeply into the actualy stats of any of the Pokémon when I play, I just have moves that look or sound cool and hope for the best.

Scizor is miles better than Scyther. It's true that Scyther is faster, but that's irrelevant - Any good Scizor user uses Bullet Punch as one of the moves, which is increased priority. 90 damage, hitting first.Biosophilogical said:

Forretress is a mean machine, at least from a competitive standpoint. Good tank.
Nidoking is pathetic in the higher levels, as he's slow and oddly enough, poorly armoured. Aside from the obvious Pseudo-Legendaries like Metagross, Dragonite, Salamence and Tyranitar, the best backup for a Scizor is either a Swampert/Empoleon or a good Electivire. Electivire is great for quick takedowns of dual-type Fires with some hard-hitting physical moves, and Swampert/Empoleon can pull out some water moves. Muddy Water is a brilliant backup for a flammable Scizor.

I never play competitively. As it is, the most technical I get is aligning physical attacks with physical stats on my pokemon (and even then I normally give gyarados surf anyway). So yeah, a pokemon doesn't need to be competitivley beastly, it just needs to have a good in-game feel to it. So I like umbreon because it looks cool, is a dark-type (I like it for the dark, not the type, if that makes sense) and I like the slow-but-steady approach of umbreon as a tank. I like scyther over scizor because it feels better (and is speedy as shit). And the pokemon only need to be strong enough to get me through the game, not to beat any hard-core competition player.Joshimodo said:
