Some things I found funny and stupid at the same time

Obama "My healthcare plan will do good for the people."

(Conversation I had with a liberal who voted for Obama.)
Me: Why did you vote for Obama?
Guy: Because he is black.
Me: Is that the only reason?
Guy: No, I also voted for him because he was a democrat
Me: Do you even know what a democrat is?
Guy: Uhhhhhhh.........(guy walks off)

I laughed so hard after that conversation.
One thing that really ticked me off was when I would overhear a person say "You have to support Obama or you're racist." or "I'm voting for him because he's black."

Race should not aid or hinder a presidential candidate's chances. It's like voting for someone based on their height.
You read my mind. Back right before the election, I wore a Mccain Palin t-shirt, and I dont know how many people called me a racist, i dont base who I vote for on race, in fact Im all for having a black president, its the stance that gets me.

Exactly. If the liberal candidate was white and the conservative candidate was black, I'd vote for the conservative. I don't care what color someone's skin is, if they're male or female, etc. All I care is that their stances on issues are similiar to mine.

People who say the two party system is ruining America's politics. Pick up a history book, before the two party system it was chaotic. Of course, many disagree with me, I don't care. Politics are just too complicated to talk about without getting someone's panties in a bunch.

Every cab ride to and from school...
"Hey Ian. You not listening."
"Ian not listening."
"Hey (cab driver's name), Ian not listening"
And whet I try to say something "No, you not listening"

Fuck you, Navi

Well a Girl thought when people were talking about euthenasia that they were talking about "youth in Asia" and asked why they didn't care about youth in america.

A teacher was drawing a diagram and said I'm not doing it to scale. And then a person said side a doesn't look like it's the right size, and the teacer said it's not to scale, then she said "oh I thought you meant like mountains"

Someone is guaranteed to asks what Dominick the Donkey has to do with christmas once every 2 months.

And today a computer had a desktop that had bush and said worst president ever. So the guy next to me put an anti Obama wallpaper. Only it wasn't really anti- Obama to me. it said Vote for Obama so everyone can get what you worked hard for. Yeah so everyone's equal, how's that bad, and hows that sign funny. Unless you're incredibally callous and think people shouldn't have the same opritunities as one another, it's a positive sign.

And for some perspective on the last one, we were watching a video about humans effect on the Earth (global warming, ect.) and they had a video of a guy clubbing a seal, this guy and the guys he had to show the "funny" wallpaper to laughed their asses off at the poor, innocent seal. Then a few seconds later they showed a a painting of a women with bare breasts and were like "Whoah!" like that was offensvie or obsceen, as if a painting of a naked women equaled porn.

EDIT: OH and did you know Mussolini was the king of the mafia and from the 18th century?

A friend of mine honestly tried to argue that Jesus was a Christian by birth. He is the most religious person in our circle of friends, the rest of the group are either atheists or scientists.

It's a communist thing, which is good on paper, but as we saw with the USSR, regardless of the dictatorship, communist does not provide a stable economy, plus there is still, for some reason, some lingering idea of communism being bad.

Most teachers I've met don't see a difference.

A few weeks ago, I had just gone to my game shop for obvious reasons. After making my purchase, I was heading out (the game shop is in a shopping center) and I walked past a donation table. Now, I usually try to give donations when I can, but the woman at the table took one look at me and said "care to make a donation?" in a tone of voice that may as well have said "don't waste my time", So it really blew her mind when I pulled out five dollars for her. The rest of the conversation went

her: Wow, I didn't think people like you did things like this
me: wait... like me?
her: yeah, you know... *gestures towards my game*.
me: *sigh* have a nice day, miss...

What? Officially they are communists, are they not? I know the practise is very different from what a communistic system is supposed to be, but until they change their name officially it seems legit that some people may think China is full of commies.

Any argument where the topic boils down to claiming something as inherently evil, like most religious topics for example. Instead of remaining civil, several of the topics just go wildly out of hand.

It really speaks as nothing more than propaganda to promote hate.

Every argument against L4D2 is as racist as he is accusing the game of being.
Even worse, he disabled comments because people were arguing with him.

I love threads like this, and I've got a fine example:

We were watching Superman Returns in history class (boredom). About...halfway through it, one of the girls in front of me goes "Wait...Superman works in an office?"

Everyone in the back row (including myself) facepalmed at the same time.

As a side note, and forgive me if this sounds sexist as that's not my intent, why are so many of the examples in this thread from girls? Have I missed something here?
While guys are at least as stupid as girls, the difference is they don't ask questions they talk in retard voices to the point where they can't control it anymore and shout penis for teh lolz (hahahaha CLASSIC! because one word constitutes a joke!) Guys do embarassing stuff but the "facepalm" moments are usually girls. And from what I've contributed one of the 5 (or 6?) was a guy.
