Halo 3: An effective method for taking down brutes is to hit them with a charged plasma pistol shot, then melee them in the face right after. if you can't get close enough, consider dual wielding both a plasma pistol and a magnum, and follow up the charged shot with a headshot. Against the flood, always trust in the dual plasma rifles, and if you know the weak spot, the battle rifle is also incredibly effective. The Assault rifle, on the other hand, is almost entirely useless. Those tactics got me through the game on Heroic, it'll do for you too.

Look for deals. Chances are you can always find a game for a cheaper price. Especially online.

Nearly all survival horror games. Learn to save your ammo and use it wisely, you don't need to kill everything.

Mass Effect 2: Make sure to do the loyalty missions and remember you can fail some of them permanently so be careful.

Assassins Creed 2: Disarm a spearman, nick his spear and perform a counter on the next person you see. If your lucky you'll get the games most awesome death animation, where Ezio replaces a guards spine with the aforementioned spear.

Here's a new one I rediscovered today, and it made several people accuse me of hacking:

Multiplayer FPS: If you're carrying a Machinegun with a massive ammo capacity, then take advantage of the large magazines. Start spraying with the gun right before you turn a corner, and if anyone is on the other side, they'll recieve a rain of death to the face. This eliminates the "let's see if there's anyone 'round this corner"-reaction time.
Problem with that is you're constantly giving away your position.

Have you gotten the P.E.C Challenge in the SlpinterCell Challenges section called 'Advanced Stealth' yet? Its all I have left to get and I just can't get it for some reason.

Wow, I;d swear you were quoting from my memory, that is pretty much an exact account of my attempts. Kobin's mansion seems the best option and I get it all perfect until that final room and I always manage to mess it up by being impatient.
do the carnival level my friend. it's the shortest level and easiest to achieve. you can sneak past everywhere except for 3 places and at these places use the portable emp and run. 5mins and you're done

This is the best advice here! Just Cause 2 is £24.99 on hmv.co.uk already! :)

Spelling tip: Dying has no 'ie' in it.
Eh i don't like that spelling, i always thought it looked weird :p
I like to warp grammar to suit my needs occasionally >:3

Tip:
In rpgs collect EVERYTHING. Even the rubbishy little things that are worth 3 gold can stack up to be worth a lot, just make sure you have enough bag space for the expensive items.

Most of my tips are probably common knowledge.

Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age: Collect every Djinni. Always. Also, buy and sell equipment, as you have limited space in inventory, before you go off into a dungeon or forest. Then again, everyone might be doing this, and I only just realized a few years ago how that can be convenient.

Do not go challenge Deathbeard (peculiar name, yet fancy) unless your level is 50+. And do not challenge Dullahan unless you have a lot of time on your hands.
