So Dark Void was easy... Big deal, doesnt reflect T rated games as a whole. Its a rating, not a genre. Forgive me, but I fail to see your point.

1.not enough blood.
2.No bad language.
3.Way to easy
Example: i'm playing dark void on "hardcore" mode and i've only died once because i thought Melee was going to be good.instead i got curb-stomped by Robots. After i got the basics down i had to go up agoinst 2 robots with rocket firing eyes.once again no deaths.
Go play inFAMOUS and Uncharted 2 those are the best T rated games I've played. I think they were way funner than most M rated games.

Plenty of people still play them. Probably the people you know don't play them anymore because they, like you, are aging and can buy M rated games now.

The amount of blood shouldn't define a game. And if you need bad language to get into a video game, i don't know whats wrong with you. Finally the rating of the game has nothing to do with the difficulty.

This is a serious question. Are you 14 years old? I'm just wondering because if those seriously stopped making you play a game... Then there's a pretty good chance I don't care for you as a person.

I've never really stopped playing a rated game to be honest unless the gameplay was really flawed or it bored me. I still really enjoy the likes of Ratchet and Clank, Jak, Sly Cooper... Hell I still prefer Timesplitters to any modern FPS. You'd think from all these games I have a PS3. Nope. 360. I would have a PS3 if I could find one that plays PS2 games.
If he is fourteen, he doesn't count for the rest of us, as I'm close enough to him in age.

As long as the T rated game is good, I could care less about the lack of blood or "f-bombs".

well the real disscuion here is if difficulty levels of rated T games have declined over time.they don't really need foul language or blood&gore but still the random distraction of somethings head exploding can really make a game more difficullt by even a little bit
How does head explosions make games more distracting or difficult? I don't remember encountering a sudden difficulty spike in Fallout 3 when I got the bloody mess perk. Maybe if you played the game specifically for that gore, then I might understand the distraction factor.

Anyway, it's more like the decline of difficulty of all games rather than just ones rated T.
so you saying when a head explodes you don't look at it for a quick moment before killing the next 1?
I'm way to busy killing other shit to say "Hey, his head exploded lol." T rated doesn't mean easy, it depends on the game. Super Mario Galaxy is rated E, and have you ever tried completing the Luigi purple coin challenge?

Hah, well...
Games like "Knights In The Nightmare" aren't exactly easy, and it's a T rated game. Besides, there are plenty of games that are fun that are T and under; Geometry Wars, Rock Band (and its sequels and blah blah blah), SSBB, The Original SMB game and a whole host of others.

Katamari is one of the most interesting first play through games I have ever played, and I enjoy playing it while under the influence of alcohol, or just showing it off to people. The game, is just amazing.

However, there is only one T game I won't play, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. Mortal Kombat should be M, though I do understand they were trying to open it up to more audiences, I play the game to rip skulls off.

I have NEVER actively looked at the rating of a game. It never even occurred to me to judge a game by this criterion.

I think you're just someone who recently has had the M games ban lifted and now wants to join the big boy crowd. Forgive me if I'm wrong, I'm just pissed. But that is sincerely what I think.

This is something that I've thought about for quite awhile, but I don't see any difference in difficulty.

I mostly think that it's because a lot of people are into FPSs, and there aren't many of those that are very enjoyable that are T rated. But that's just what I think.

I play games of all ratings...except AO, of course. Though most of my favorites end up rated M, with the exception of Pokemon.

I think the reason people stopped playing rated T games is because they don't exist anymore (they turned into M. Just look back, all the old FPS's were rated T until people started getting pissed at the ESRB) Name a game made in the last year that was rated T. is it Barbie horse adventure? that is why people dont play rated T games

I'm not too sure if this thread is serious or not, but I'd wager most people are like me, in that that once you're past the age where ratings matter, or else you live in a state/province/whatever that doesn't care, that you base your purchases on whether you think you'll enjoy the game, and not on the rating.
