heh this didn't sound like that previous .... stuff before.

It was okay i guess, still i did't really feel the connection of real life shit and working it out on worms.

From a review point perspective you had to diss the graphics of a game that's i reckon a decade old? It's cartoony, but what do you expect from worms?. I guess it's a matter of taste, maybe you didn't grow up with the old worms and just took a glance at this xbox version.

From a humor point of view, it wasn't really strong. I mean when i saw the title i thought this is an excellent source for comedy. But you left it largely untapped. From the funny soundbits, chop chop cheerio, jumping sounds, bazzooka sounds, all those sounds are so very familiar and would really work to bring some smiles to faces. Instead i noticed a lame halelujah. I guess the song itself didn't leave much room to incorperate such stuff. But it really is a shame.

So end conclusion.
Song = ok/average
Reviewing = meh
Humor = a lot of missed chances.
If you didn't have boobies i wouldn't see a reason why this series is still continuing

Yah, I think this one threw me. Usually I immediately recommend that we get an .mp3 file for the song, (which I'm still waiting on, mind you) but I think this might be one of those songs where the first time you hear it, you can kinda take it or leave it, and then another listen (or two) later, something connects.

I kinda liked the style of this review, the acapella was nice... but tearing into an old playstation game seems a bit harsh and unnecessary to me. But I plan to keep listening anyways, naturally. I'm not going to whine about anything being weak or funny or not funny or any of that crap, because frankly these songs and videos are interesting enough to watch and listen to every single time.

Hah, no. I do not have to do anything to say my opinions.

Besides, I find it ironic how you tell me to "pick up a guitar" if Rebecca herself is just using music programs to make "songs".
Then pick up a music program, and contribute something constructive. The creative component of music is the same, regardless of method.

You certainly are welcome to your opinions, and you are even welcome to say them here as anywhere on the internet where anonymity loosens the reigns of opinion.

However, you should back up your stated opinion with solid reasoning, and if you would like to share your criticism it is always preferred that you do so in a constructive way. We aren't YouTube, so don't act like it here.
Why? The man doesn't think the songs are so great, what kind of solid reasoning is supposed to go behind that? Are you going to go up to people who like it and ask them to give some solid reasoning to back up their opinion?

I'd say more, but Abedeus put it better than I could.

I was expecting this to sound like the previous songs, but this surprised me. I liked it. My favorite is still Bionic Commando, though. Keep up the good work.

Really enjoyed this one, the acapella worked very well for the song, and while the video certainly had a lot more of an artsy feel then the previous ones I have seen, it also had kind of a neat contradiction to the game itself(laying peacefully in the grass while singing about the physics of blowing each other up).

I don't normally comment on these forums, but it looks like a lot of people are chiming in to rip into your videos because they are a lot different then what you might expect to see on a gaming magazine site, but I do want to say that you have a lot of fans out here too even if we aren't always the vocal ones.

Wow, Becks, I figured I'd have to wait a while between videos, but you've been pumping them out at a very fast rate recently. A new style with each video always has me tentative when I press the "play" button as what to expect, but once again the new style was fun to listen to.

As an aside: What was up with the record scratch part? I half expected the speed and everything else to completely shift into some sort of techno-beat thing when I heard that. I'm not saying it was bad, just surprising.

Very nice job. Doing it acapella really showed us how good your voice is. Not that we couldnt tell before but it was kinda hard to hear over the music. It was also nice to hear a song about a game that hasn't been previously reviewed on Zero Punctuation or Unskippable (Not that singing songs on ggmes they've reviewed is nessaceraly a bad thing)

Garageband loop. I actually used it a couple times when I was fooling around with songs and stuff. I think the song would be stronger without it.

You still act like you believe I should do anything to post my OPINIONS.

OPINIONS. Don't you understand that? An opinion isn't something you can or should discuss. You can't be constructive about whether you like an apple or an orange.

"Why don't you like apples?"

"Well... they don't taste good."
It's not a question of the validity of a given opinion, but rather the dramatically low content provided. You don't like apples? That's fine. Why post to say you don't like apples? Who the hell cares that you don't like apples, and what can simply saying "They don't taste good" do to improve the work being done by the farmers that grow the apples you don't like? If you don't like apples, don't eat them, and don't post just to say that you don't like them.

If apples don't taste "good", talk about something that does taste "good" to give a point of reference for your distaste.

I don't like the way you stated your original opinion, so I offered something you could do to modify your opinion to suit my personal tastes of what makes a "good" opinion. It really doesn't matter whether you like it or not. The reason I'm not calling out the people who like it out is because they aren't being pointless dicks.

I'm glad that you've provided some reference for your dislike of the series, however, you seem compelled to come back on a regular basis to spew about how you still don't like it. It's really quite simple. If you don't like it, you don't have to keep trying to argue about it.

Aww, how nice.

Someone again doesn't understand that "Comment" isn't the same as "Post a positive opinion".

Also, nice of you to call people differing from your opinion "pointless dicks".

Why is it a low content post? Because I dissagree with you? That seems to be the explanation you're giving me.

I saw the video, thought I might like it, and I didn't. Why do I have any less of a right of posting in the comment section that someone who did? The whole point of a comment section is to ask people what they think of something, regardless of whether the comment is positive or negative.

Comment - generally a verbal or written remark often related to an added piece of information, or an observation or statement.

Your original comment:
Abedeus said:
Yeah, but I still couldn't stand to hear that music... Although she has FINALLY changed the repetitive chorus problem, it still IMO isn't good enough to listen, funny enough to laugh, worthwhile enough to entertain.
What did you add by posting? The issue at hand isn't that your opinion is negative, but that your post lacks anything new to say about why you still don't like it. If you still couldn't stand to hear the music, why were you standing there in the first place? Are your hopes really built up that high every other week, to be smashed time and time again? Why do you keep coming back if you know it's going to happen?

Here's an example of giving a negative opinion, without being blunt and repetative:
"While I personally prefer the heavy metal style of other bands, this was different than her last song. I still wouldn't put her songs on my iPod, but at least she's trying new things."

You'll note that I've commented with an opinion that still says "I didn't like it" while maintaining a concise description of my reasoning.

"I still don't like it, and I didn't like it before" says very little. It has nothing to do with my opinion about the video or the music, and everything to do with giving a negative response for the sake of being negative. It in no way references your post being low content, but rather is an answer to multiple replies.

Giving negative opinions isn't wrong, nor are people with opinions obligated to articulate why they have them. If you must derive connotative meaning from it, you could just take it as "they'd rather escapist be supporting something else."

If you're gonna judge the contributions of each post individually, I suggest you start with this:

No one rips on Worms 2: Armageddon!

Haha, but in all seriousness this song is definitely the weaker one so far. The basic riff was more annoying than catchy.

BTW it's funny that most of the comments so far are about comments and opinions themselves than the actual video.

Worms 2: Armageddon, huh?
You realize those were caterpillars you used in the video, not worms...

At any rate, I can't say I liked it. Lyrics and tempo just don't seem professional.

Rebecca, this was breathtakingly beautiful and funny at the same time. Thank you very, very much.
