Red Dwarf. You can not go wrong with Red Dwarf.
And Blackadder
Or if you like older stuff, Dads Army, Fawlty Towers, Thin Blue Line and Yes Minister
Might watch Red Dwarf because I've seen a few episodes on Dave and I kind of enjoyed them but never got around watching all the episodes, I haven't seen any of BlackAdder but I might watch it because it has Mr Bean (forgot the actors name) in it.

My suggestions are:

Fawlty Towers - It's John Cleese and you can watch it all in a day as there is only one season.
Black Books - It has Bill Bailey in it therefore it's awesome.
Spaced - Simon Pegg in one of the most hillarious shows I have ever watched

Also- congratulations on seeing Ricky Gervais as the over hyped unfunny pillock he truly is.

I forgot Fawlty Towers. Also, I didn't mention MPFC because I figured anyone asking about British comedy already knows about it.

Hello fellow Escapist!

Just as the title says. I have seen Only Fools and Horses, The Young Ones, Bottom, Love Thy Neighborhood, Little Britain, Father Ted and 2D TV. But I want to see some others, I'm personally not into The Office (I dislike Ricky) and not really a big fan of Mighty Boosh. So recommend me some comedies
If your into sci-fi I would recommend Red Dwarf. Otherwise u might like Spaced, Monty Python's Flying Circus (or any Monty Python), The IT Crowd, and maybe Are You Being Served (If you like retro).

EDIT: Blackadder

Black Books

(Tho technically it's Irish comedy since Dylan Moran wrote most of it...then again he's based in London...)

Monty Python. Anything Monty Python is gold. The show, the movies, you really can't go wrong with that.

Spaced. If you love Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, you should like that too.
This is more modern British comedy but it's also great too.
I've only watched The Holy Grail and Life of Brian. What film is 'The Lumberjack Song' from?

Rowan Atkinson is Mr bean. Thin Blue Line also has him in it.
