Monty Python. Anything Monty Python is gold. The show, the movies, you really can't go wrong with that.

Spaced. If you love Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, you should like that too.

This is more modern British comedy but it's also great too.

I've only watched The Holy Grail and Life of Brian. What film is 'The Lumberjack Song' from?

That is in both the Flying circus tv series and the film And Now For Something Completely Different.
I think The meaning of Life has the best songs in it though. Who can forget every sperm is sacred or the penis song

Ok, on the TV front:
Blackadder, QI (ok it's a quiz show but seriously, it's brilliant), Monty Python (and most stuff for that era of sketch shows), Green Wing (it's like Scrubs but British).
Films wise: Hot Fuzz, Monty Python films, Four weddings and a funeral, Love Actually, Briget Jones' Diary.
Radio (bare with me): I'm sorry I'll read that again, The Goon Show, Hancock's half hour.

I'm sure there's more that I can't remember of the top of my head.
Oh, Live at the Appollo is stand up, but it's a brilliant show case of British comedy.

Operation Good guy's, JAAAAAAAAM or Jam depending on which version you find, Garth Merengi's dark place, man to man with Dean Learner, also find AD/BC and that Mitchell and Web situation(there first ever series that apparently no one saw). Just few that haven't been mentioned and i think every one should watch.

Me and my brother were watching it at his house and we were almost on the floor.I found it that funny.
