Renewal of Reality Video Game Series: Shark Week (Ep 2: Shellshocked.)

Recette's current shot as her own adventurer has not been going well. Every now and then she'd find a portal, which she assumed was the portal to the next floor, and took it, sending her to a random section of the houses infrastructure. Worse yet, as she kept walking she seemed to gain a slowly increasing number of Creepers that were following her just slightly slower than her normal walking speed.

She finally stopped at a fork in the path.
"Hmmm... maybe Nagi was right... it's easy to get lost in places like this"
Suddenly the sound of 10 excited creepers starting to hiss in unison reached her ears. She spun around to see the green things start glowing a bit.
"Ughwa! Monsters, no weapons, no magic... uhhh"
Suddenly Recette got the insightful idea to book it. Fast.

She took the left corridor and started running, ducking into the first door she could find. The inside was a sterile well-lit white room, there were a multitude of screens everywhere she looked, even above the door.
"Hmm... well I guess I can just wait here until I find that doorway back home... I'm no good at this whole adventuring thing." She sighed as she took another look at her surroundings. There was a interface platform with a multitude of strange signals and buttons on it. Casting a sly glance around her she pressed one, it released a pleasant beeping noise.
She took this as a cue to begin pressing all the buttons in a random sequence.

 

[Fury Is Me.]

The screen flickered to life, and for a moment, showed an Analog screen consisting of the typical bar colors you see on an old TV that's lost its signal. Then it flicked on. "Donkey Kong Sequence Activated." It said. Suddenly, a wooden, jungle-esque door opened up and a large barrel rolled out, with a symbol of a banana on it. It exploded open, and a large, angry monkey popped out. It swiftly grabbed Recette and lifted her above it's head, before crashing through one of the walls, which lead it out into the recreation area. there was now a floating construction site in mid air, with an oil can at the very bottom. the large ape jumped onto each support beam, bending them horrendously, until it got to the top, where it tied Recette up and placed her on the very highest beam. Then it let out a monkey "Oook".


Somewhere, deep in the bowels of cyber space, something dark and forgotten was lurking. It was waiting for a long time, just waiting for the right time. Suddenly, something shocked through it, as if an opening had been made. There was. In the system Recette had just messed with, there was a hole, not big enough yet, but this presence would make sure of it. It went to work, prying and pulling open the hole in the system, figuratively, of course.

Chell was thoroughly enjoying that fight between The pretty men, even more so when Mr. Koala dowsed the in liquor...it was like so wonderful dream come true. A dream that turned into a nightmare when Chen grabbed Steph and started doing horrid things to him, at least it seemed that way to her.
She decided to save her mind and run away, she ran with out any rhyme or reason, through the house eventually running into a giant construction site, which was in the yard where she started.

On top of the construction she spotted a giant monkey.

Sakuya eventually looked outside again and saw the construction site. She was about to slam her head against the window before she saw that the small child from before was being held hostage by the Gorilla at the top."I've got to save that little girl... And dress her up like Ojou-sama." She said to herself before leaping out her window and donning a red cap. She flew to the bottom and decided to give herself a bit of a challenge. Right as she began climbing up a familiar tune began to play.

Chell saw Sakuya, in a spiffy red hat begin climbing up the metal beams. Chell being the super amazing friend grabbed a navy blue hat with an upside down L on the front, and followed Sakuya on the Ascent.
"Heya Sakuya its me Chell, Imma help you stop the big old monkey!" she shouted

Moving in erratic motions that you couldn't seem to see the motion in between before they stopped, the large ape began grabbing barrels from his side and rolling them down the construction site. The barrels moved any which way down the site and sometimes went down ladders. He seemed to have an endless stockpile.

Unsure how the source of her earlier headaches got to the construction site without the ability to fly, or a really tall ladder, and then got from the top to the bottom so fast, Sakuya simply gave a look of shock and shook it off. She barely noticed the barrel heading for her as she jumped it and began her ascent up the girder-ed building.

Recette tried struggling against the ropes holding her down on the platform, but unfortunately her tiny tiny arms couldn't make any progress against the monkeys mighty knotting skills.

"Oh carp! This is just getting worse now, usually all that springs out at me are giant fish or bombs... THIS IS JUST TOO MUCH!" She cried as she kept struggling against the ropes. Still making no process she just panted for a few seconds, this time managing to fall flat on her back.
"Urgh...."

 

[Lambi]

Sephiroth turned towards Chen. "I think you've got the roles reversed, panda man. It should be you who should fear me, for I am one step closer to getting out of here and becoming a god. I don't have time to waste with you. Begone." He gave a warning slash with his Masamune, barely touching Chen, but close enough for him to feel its power, then walked away from him again.

The Gorilla at the top of the construction site was still just rolling barrels down the site, every now and then, he'd drop a blue one, which would just hop down all the beams of the site.

Chell heard the cries of a child, and knew that monkey had Recette the houses resident loli.
"Give back our loli you damn dirty ape!" she shouted, a she picked up the pace.
She jumped of the Barrels being thrown, that is until the monkey dropped the blue barrel which traveled down the building and into a hobo fire which then started spewing fire balls.
"AHHHHH Bad Day Bad day Bad day!" she shouted a she raced toward a ladder and climbed it to the next level.

Sakuya had managed to get up two more levels of girders with some easy as she jumped over the barrels and just flew up the levels without using the ladders. That was when she found the hammer. this was no ordinary hammer, this was a mallet at best, she gripped it and began smashing through the barrels at breakneck speeds, nearing the top of the building.

Kong's strategy in response to this obvious onslaught was simple. Throw more barrels. and so he did, at nearly the same speed as before, barely even seeming to notice the Maid with the Mallet coming his way.

Chell was running from the fire when something occurred to her, she didn't need to obey the rules, hell she didn't needed to bend space and she could make it to the top. she grabbed the ledge and hung dangerously off the side of the structure and fired a portal as close to the top as she could, the same level as Sakuya. With her portal set she let go of the building falling toward the ground, right as she was about to go splat she fired a portal at the ground and fell through the portal.

Sakuya then leapt up and smacked the Gorilla in the face with the mallet in an attempt to knock him to a King Kong styled doom, getting as many hits in as she could before the time limit on the hammer had run out.

Big Bad Kong didn't know what was going on. He felt pain in ways he'd never felt pain before, but he just couldn't stop throwing barrels. He kept on throwing barrels until his brains were knocked clean out of his head, and he fell over dead. A large foggy wisp that looked much like him floated out of him with a banana halo above it. He floated into the sky.

Sakuya then untied Recette and donned a pair of sunglasses."Hop on mah back if you wunt to live." She said not really concealing her plans as she smiled a wide, overly friendly smile.

Mission Complete.

Meanwhile, away from the Ruckus. The ASAGUT stood in front of a large computer screen that held an oversized loading bar on it. It read 25%. "

GETTING THERE. WE ARE GETTING THERE. TIME TO INITIATE NEXT SEQUENCE. QUE EPISODE END IN THREE, TWO, ONE.

Recette was finally freed from her disturbing ape bondage by the friendly neighborhood Ninja maid. "Oh wow... thanks miss... uh, who were you again? And no, I think I can-" she took a look down the side of the girder and saw how very high up she was.
"CARP! Too high, too high!" She says as she quickly latches on to Sakuyas side.

"My name is Sakuya,but you may call me 'Onee-san'." She said still smiling overly wide as the small child latched onto her."I'll protect you from now on, okay~?" Sakuya looked down and her nose was dripping a slight bit of red.

OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO~
