Did you just sort-of necro an ongoing thread because it had dropped a page? Well, while it's nice to see the Review Wars thread back on the first page, it's sort of unecessary, as it will come back when the judging is done and the inevitable next War begins

Not only did I forget but when I did remember it I had been swamped with other things to do.

Well, better luck next time I guess. I guess I'll just... make an extra long Giana Sisters DS review with bits of the review of the original game. Once I've completed Giana DS, that is.

I meant when do the judges have to send in the scores.

Mind you, it shouldn't take the judges longer to judge than for the writers to write.

I dont know if I'd say that. My actual word document that has all the comments and scores is longer than a 1000 word review. Then again it also takes less creativity. Kind of a toss up, as I really dont want to half ass any of the judging.

I think that NewClassic and Danzorz were (or are) both in the middle of prepping for exams, so I've been willing to wait. However, I have to say that I'm a little stumped as to why it's taken this long... Granted, I'd like for the judges to be careful and precise, but I've sort of been waiting to get back to normal reviewing for a while now.

I know that: but I'm slightly neurotic about what order I do things in. Hence, I shall wait

I'm still waiting to hear back on some scores.But I got out of exams just in time to move...

Twice.

So I'm a little set back, but my scores are coming along. Even after I hear back from the judges, I have to assemble all of the total scores, do the math, and get back to you. Reviews will be posted, and the top three winners announced as soon as I have everything in and have time to put it all together.

If you don't hear back from me by Wednesday (Thursday for you future people), then feel free to harass me. Until then, I have a lot to do and so very little time to post. But know I'm working on it.

Then I checked the dates of the posts and saw that it was only half a month last time.

Hmm... perhaps there was twice the amount of people as last time, or fewer judges? If so, I won't complain, though I would like to see something soon, even if it's just a guess as to how many of the reviews have been judged.

Yeah, I know. Honestly, if it weren't for classes starting earlier than I was expecting, and simply not having the time I'd like (an hour to myself is asking a lot right now), they'd've been done and tallied.

This is entirely my fault, and I'd be glad to hand everything over to another judge, but barring that option, I'll have them done as soon as I can. Sorry about the wait, all, but I'm not nearly as good as Lvl64_Klutz, it seems.

I'm not really asking for you to be Speedy Gonzalez here: all I want is some sort of indication as to how far along in the process you are. Right now I find myself in a distinct state of meh with regards to the war... and it's a WAR!

I'm not saying you should update us with Twitter-like frequency or speed, but can't you drop some sort of hint as to how things are progressing? Right now I feel like the horse chasing the carrot dangling from a stick... except the carrot is invisible, and I've already run for three weeks straight trying to find it.

I get the feeling that most of us aren't really frustrated with how long its been taking: after all, we've all been in our share of time crunches. Rather, we want some sort of status update now and then, confirmation that things are still GOING, even if it's at the pace of a slug.

We're starved for info Nuke... could you spare a scrap?
