It ain't going to win but again I'm just having fun with these contests. My review is going to be a rambling story which begins with a rant about zombies in gaming and ends with a tale about how I discovered the meaning of life in an arcade. Fun, fun, fun.

So I had two hours of free time in Health class today. Wrote my entire review. Now I have to find the encouragement to spend five or ten minutes typing it...

What's that, Team Fortress 2? You want me to play you? But I have to type this review! Oh, poor thing. Maybe just thirty minutes...

Not anymore. But I learned programming on a C64 and used it a long time. I also found the perfect game for review. Hint: It's neither PacMan nor Frogger. And I doubt that somebody could write 500 words on Pong.

Possibly shooting myself in the foot here, but are we allowed to post a video review, too? I've got my review typed out, but I really think if I added on this video script that I've worked out it will be that much better. I can understand if we don't want to allow it; one, it cheats out that 500-1500 word limit, adding extra time for the reviewer, and two, it's not exactly fair against those who don't have the equipment nor knowledge of how to make a video (though anyone can do it). However, I only see video segments as a plus - if the intent is to improve a review, well, shouldn't it be encouraged?

Sadly, I'm afraid to say that not everyone will have access to the video editing software, microphone, and other miscellany required to do this. In light of that, I'm afraid I cannot allow video reviews to be posted in lieu of written ones. (For which I'm sorry, as I would allow it in a perfect world.)

Sorry about that, but if you want to post something unrelated to the contest after the contest's duration has passed, I encourage you to do so.

Besides, my Sims one alienated one particular judge. I think the scores were something like 23,23,23,14.
