Hmmm CoD 2: Big Red 1....In the last level your assulting the german border, and as your running into a trench a shell goes off and kills Brooklyn(I think that was his name...), a New-Yorker who had been with you since the 1st mission and saved your life on multiple occassions. When he died I was like "What?!?! He's dead?!?!? Just like that?!?! NOOOOOO!!!!! "
It was a sad day in video gamming for me.
EDIT: Not as bad as Big Red One, but in Dead Space when Isaac finds out that he has lost his mind and that his GF actualy killed herself weeks before he arrived, I found that part sad, especialy since the way he found out was the evil character being a jerk, and that the only reason he was enduring the private hell onboard the ship was because of her. Very sad.

I found this interesting in the fact that it is kind of true to real life. You reap what you 've sown.Omikron009 said:This isn't any particular plot point, but it happened to me after finishing the last quest of Broken Steel, Who Dares Wins. I had played as an evil character the entire game, so needless to say I took the evil option at the end of the quest. Without spoiling anything, it's an absolutely MASSIVE, completely pointless dick move, the reward of which is thousands of caps worth of equipment, including two tesla cannons and a very good custom pistol, as well as the total hostility of the brotherhood of steel. Anyway, I realized after making it back to the citadel at the end of the quest and dealing with the enemies there that despite my huge material wealth and deadly combat skills, my character was totally alone. He had killed so many potential friends and every reliable weapon merchant, save lucky harith. As I was realizing that being a dick got my character nowhere, that song "Happy Times" started playing on the radio. I nearly cried.
