Jeffery continued breathing that being the only kind of relaxation he could get as he tried to fall asleep the pain in his body making it difficult.

"room for hundreds of spells and no healing spell, way to think ahead Jeff" Jeffery thought rolling off of his bed onto the floor and grabbing one of the books he borrowed from the library realizing none of them were Spellbooks he slowly got to his feet and staggered forward almost falling against the door as he opened it and staggered outside making his way for the library using the wall as support.

Not finding much in the shape of a forest - and not expecting to - Rochelle returned to the school halls. The only other option was returning to the dorm, where the fridge would probably have something she could take. Hopefully they were magically restocked in the same way that the bed had been freshly made upon Rochelle's return after the party the night before.

When she found a stretch of deserted corridor on the ground floor of the dorms, she took her time getting to the elevator. It was good to get away from the hustling crowds, she thought. But then, she'd practically been doing that all day, what with the flying and the attempts to relax on the grass. Perhaps she needed some (relatively) human contact.

Jeffery continued to walk down the hallway, every breath hurting a little as he slowly advanced forward with the help of the wall next to him before stopping infront of the elevator waiting for the carriage to arrive.

"there better be a healing spell somewhere in the library or I`m gonna have to hurt somebody" Jeffery thought trying to stave off the soreness.

So, are we still playing?
Yes, we are. I've just been waiting and waiting and waiting for Quad and I think it's finally fair to say he can't think of anything to post and is not going to have a sudden brainwave either.

*thunk* Stupid! He's never going to talk to you again. He hates you. He thinks you're a pathetic, indecisive slut who just lures people back to her room to fuck with their emotions. He hates you... Stupid! *thunk*

She'd given up trying to make him listen. Instead she was sat outside of his room, banging the back of her head against the wall in a vague hope that it would do something to help her. Whether this wall would actually grant her bravery, intelligence or sheer force of will via osmosis was under little suspicion.

Why am I even still here? All I can think to do is sit outside his room in case he decides to come out and talk to me? God, I am pathetic... Pathetic girl who can't even control herself. I might as well just go live in a cave right now and save myself the trouble. *thunk*

"[small]"Oow..."[/small] She stopped hitting her head once it started to hurt; thoughts of self-doubt and self-deprecation were crowding her mind. She sighed loudly.

Soon enough, though she had been walking slowly, Rochelle took the elevator up to the second floor where the rooms numbered between two hundred and three hundred were situated. For a change of pace, she stretched her wings out and let them trail behind her instead of keeping them partially folded at her back in a similar manner to a bird.

A noticeboard caught her eye before she reached her dorm room, and she paused to investigate more closely. Students had put up advertisements for almost anything from old textbooks to love potions to a band looking for a drummer. There was even a small ad in one corner for some sort of student speed-dating service, which Rochelle was forced to giggle at. She'd always found the activity amusing for some reason.

Resolving to check that noticeboard at least once a week, she reached the door of room 219, and paused briefly. There was the possibility that Sven could be there, but then he could be somewhere else with the rest of his werewolf friends. It was a classic dilemma similar to Schrodinger's Cat, except with less dead kittens and more roommates.

Rochelle knocked on the door briefly before she called, "Sven? You there?" She opted to wait for a response before walking in. For all she knew, he could have friends over. It was best to wait until he acknowledged her before she entered the room.

After he had returned to his room, Sven had to rifle through his disorganized mess of a backpack to find his class schedule, only to find a note on back he'd either completely missed earlier or just gave a cursory glance and forgot about until now:

Be sure to pick up your required textbooks at the library before classes start.

Well, at least this time I'll know what I'm doing, Sven thought to himself as he looked at the list of books he needed. Just then, there was a knock on the door. And who knows, maybe... Before Sven could finish that thought, there was a knock on the door. Sven knew there was only one person who'd come knocking even before he heard Rochelle's voice call out, "Sven? You there?" Not seeing any real point in staying silent and hoping she'd go away, he opened the door and responded as calmly as possible, "Yeah, I'm here. Forget your key or something?"

Rochelle hesitated briefly before answering, "Um... actually, I was kinda hoping to stay for a while. More specifically, I think we need to talk." All right, here I go... Damn my lack of improvising skills.

"I think... I'm not sure, but I think we might have both messed up. Me more than you, of course. Um... Sorry, this is a little difficult. What I'm trying to say is, once again, I'm sorry for everything I did last night. And everything I said. I was wrong to even consider being interested in forming a relationship with you. We've only known each other for a few days; that's nowhere near enough time to get to know each other that well." She leaned on the doorway and looked up at Sven's face, hoping for some sort of positive expression.

"So... we can go back to being friends, right? Is there anything else you feel I should apologise for?"

On one hand, Sven was relieved Rochelle wanted to mend their relationship. On the other hand, he felt he was much more responsible for their current tensions. "If anyone should be apologizing for anything, it should be me. I admit I acted like a jerk, and I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. If you can forgive, then so can I." He tried to think of something further to say, but figured it would be better to see how Rochelle took his apology first.

A smile of relief made its way onto Rochelle's lips. "I understand. Apology accepted," she said. "For future reference, don't worry about waiting for forgiveness from me. I don't hold grudges very well." Wanting to change the topic now that it was said and done, she paused to let Sven speak. Hopefully he would change the subject to something a bit brighter.

Sven felt a little better about having patched things up with Rochelle, but made a mental note to be more wary of his roommate's feelings in the future. Sven waited a few seconds to see if she'd wanted anything else before asking, "I was just heading back to the library to pick up my textbooks. Did you want to come along?"

"Um, sure, I guess," Rochelle answered. "I'll just check which ones I need. 'Scuse, please." She edged past Sven and entered the dorm, hurrying straight for her side of the room. A minute later she found her timetable. "This should help. I guess they'll tell us which ones correspond to which subject."

She rejoined Sven at the door, and continued speaking, "I take it you've been to the library before? What's it like?"

Jeffery walked and half-fell into the elevator carriage somewhat able to stand upright as he pressed the corresponding button and fell backwards resting on the bar at the back of the elevator before staggering outside upon reaching the ground floor.

"I just realized, I have no idea what day it is today" Jeffery laughed to himself as he started walking for the library his strides becoming longer and more purposeful as his aches lessened.

Lillith forced herself to standing height and then slowly slithered away, finally getting to the point when she wouldn't wait any longer. She had done everything she could and to do any more would be impossible.

Fine... So Nathan isn't your friend... You still have Rochelle. She's your friend. And Sven is probably going to be your friend. And there are other people, less complex people, who will all want to be your friends. So what if one guy doesn't like you? So what if you managed to mess up this one time? You'll have other chances.

With this in mind, Lillith went back to her room. If nothing else she'd be able to avoid the general populace for a while.

Oh, this must be my fault. When Oneirius said 'I think we should stop playing' I read it as 'Just keep playing, you are doing great.' How silly of me. =P

"I did go down there a bit earlier, though I couldn't really find anything in that labyrinth," Sven told Rochelle as they walked to the elevator. "You can't even see the walls from the entrance. And word of advice: if any of the teachers tells you a book is off limits, it would be wise to listen."

"So noted," Rochelle said with a short laugh. "But then, that's a given, really, isn't it? For all we know, there could be some kind of restricted book containing... I dunno, some kind of spell to drain the life-force from someone, or to blow up the entire school. Best to leave stuff like that alone, I figure." She gave Sven a smile as they entered the elevator.

"Which way is the library from here anyways?" she asked. "Perhaps one or both of us need maps of the school."

Jeffery's walk finally started to regain some sense of normalcy as he started walking for the library managing to remember they way from last time.

He reached the mammoth door and with some effort pushed it open craning his neck upwards to get a better look at the roof, it seemed far away but from what Jeff could make out he saw it had a fine mural painted on it, looking back down Jeff advanced toward the ocean of shelves weaving through them towards the arcane section using his memory as a guide.

"maybe it`s a Tuesday?..." Jeffery mused as he passed by the history section.
