"Cat!? What the hell?" he said as he rolled her off himself. "I think you hurt my wing with that excellent tackle of your-- ow! Yeah, definitely did something." After struggling back to his feet, Chaz extended his hand down to Catalina so he could help her back up. "At least you seem to be much better."

Catalina gasped and winced, her relief switched too empathy, and she healed the damage with a little magic without realizing it, "Sorry! And yeah, I'm better, but I'm confused as shit, do you know what's going on? Because I have no idea..."

She looked around and looked back too Chaz, "do you, perchance, have a map of this place?"

"No, actually. This building is pretty confusing, though. I don't think we have any classes yet, so there isn't really anything we have to do. I was just walking around for the heck of it."

Catalina sighed in relief, she nearly hugged Chaz again but decided against it, "finally, some good news! Actually, I found something you would believe, in this room, there's this chair that, of you sit in it, it sends you too your room! I think I know the way, if you want see it, I think I know the way..."

Jeffery leaned against the wall of the elevator carriage books still in his arms, staring at the ceiling any previous attempt to act cool fading away replaced now by a wall of social indifference which essentially achieved the same effect, the doors opened to a deserted hallway Jeffery stepped out quickly and quietly making the required walk to his dorm in silence.

Jeffery placed his books on the desk on his side of the room relieved that he could finally relax, putting his earphones in turning on some music before rolling off his bed to read his books.

Jeffery started reading the book he borrowed on mythical biology, trying to focus on reading, his mind drifting off to the events of earlier today.

"she seemed nice, comes with being an angel I guess, I don`t even know why I did`nt tell her my name I don`t have anything to hide...well 'cept for that" Jeffery mused half-heartedly trying to read the book.

"...Why?..." Chaz half-questioned and half-wondered. "Who in their right mind decided that that needed to exist? It's cool and all, but still. Lead the way, I guess."

"Oh, heya 'chelle." Lillith gave a half-hearted hug back. "Not really friends, no, I was just asking 'em if they'd seen Nathan around anywhere."

"Speaking of which, you haven't have you? I think he might be trying to avoid me..." She was a bit unhappy saying this. After all the things she said that night she wasn't completely surprised that Nathan had acted the way he did. She felt a bit guilty about it all. Maybe it really would have been better just to go along with things?

My brain isn't working too well for some reason... I'm gonna go away for a bit to have a break, maybe get a bite to eat, then come back and see if I can make a better post.

"Um, no, sorry, I haven't seen him," Rochelle answered. "And hey, you're not the only one with boy trouble. Sven and I had a little falling out last night as well... not a good night for that sort of thing, I think. I don't suppose you've caught a glimpse of him at all?" She gave a half-smile as she remembered the cold tone the werewolf had used in response to her last question in the dream meeting.

"Sorry, no. I wish I had..." She sighed and crossed her arms. She'd sort of expected her and Nathan to go badly -she admitted that the constant lying hardly meant it was going to last- but Rochelle and Sven were both a bit more normal. She thought that they might have stood more of a chance together.

"Well," she said, trying to improve the mood, "Maybe it's just a guy thing? We didn't really do anything wrong so maybe it's just that they need some time to think things over before we can talk to 'em again?"

"I don't know, Lilli..." Rochelle said, trailing off slightly. "I did mention to Sven that I'm, well, not a huge fan of the way werewolves change their form. The same goes for any other shapeshifting race, to be honest. I let my emotions get carried away last night. I just hope I haven't ruined our friendship or anything."

Another thought came to her at that point. How exactly would a relationship between an angel and a werewolf work anyway? She didn't know. Maybe it would be better if Rochelle had a look around for someone of her own race. She'd seen a few other angels around the school, so hopefully she could meet up with one or two of them and get to know them.

Catalina smiled and started leading Chaz around, walking up and down stairs, down corridors, through courtyards, accidentally blundering through secret passage ways and having too flee from several very angry creatures, who were actually students, pulling pranks on the new kids. After about an hour of this, they ended up in a bell tower, over looking the entire campus when Catalina finally admitted that she was completely and utterly lost.

"I am so sorry! I must gotten lost after that first creaure! ... At least we found a good place for a view, even if you have too swim too get here..."

"Who even designed this campus? It doesn't seem like practicality was on his mind when he built it, anyway. Although it is beautiful," Chaz said, turning his head to look out from a window. It may have been his imagination, but the layout of the whole place almost looked like it took on some sort of strange, specific shape from where he stood. "Come on, lets get to the top," he said pulling Catalina along with him. "I think I see something."

Catalina's eyebrows shot up and she shrugged before muttering under her breath, "if there's another monster up there, I swear..."

"Yeah, sure, what do you think it is," she asked as she followed him, in her mind, she decided too try something. Beside her, those familiar balls of light, which had been such an asset on the Zeppelin, winked into life and Catalina had never been so happy too see them in her life before she let them wink back out of existance.

Jeffery closed the back cover of the book on mythical biology finally having finished it letting out a sigh as he leaned back in his chair, a smile of contentment on his face as he got out of his chair and started stretching his muscles.

"so that`s how minotaurs are born, that Greek myth lied to me" Jeffery said talking to himself as he started pacing back and forth, occasionally looking at the remaining books on his desk, after a few minutes deciding that he would read them later, he stepped out of his room and back outside taking care to remember his steps to avoid getting lost, he exited the elevator and turned to see Rochelle still standing there only this time there was someone else with her.

"hmmm she looks familiar....oh wait, she`s a lamia... never thought I`d see one in my lifetime, much less one as a student" Jeffery thought walking toward them, hopefully not drawing any attention to himself.

Wow... Story of Lillith's life: letting her emotions run away with her.

She really hated all of this. She felt like things were messing up just because of how she had to lie. If she didn't make Rochelle promise to keep quiet about how Lamias were, maybe she would have been less worried about having to deal with Sven's shape-shifting as well? Lillith definitely knew that she would have been a lot more comfortable with Nathan if she didn't have to lie about everything.

It was sort of her fault...

Or maybe it wasn't? Maybe she was just trying to blame herself so that Rochelle didn't have to?

Lillith hated second-guessing herself almost as much as she hated her situation with Nathan. It only confused her more about everything...

"I think... that Sven'll be alright with it eventually. I think that when you and him talk, you'll get to be friends again." She wasn't sure how well this might work with her own problem. Nathan was a bit more of a childish romanticist than she thought Sven might be.

"Friends, yeah... but no more than that," Rochelle noted. "I'm pretty sure Sven isn't interested in me the way I thought I was in him." She opted to act on the thought she had had earlier, and said, "Y'know, wouldn't it just be easier for both of us if we found, well, people of our own races? I mean, I've seen a couple of angels around, and there's bound to be a Lamia or two you can befriend easily... Right?" She shot a quick look at Lillith as they continued walking, wondering what her reaction would be to the idea.

"I dunno, Rochelle..." There were a few things wrong with the suggestion for Lillith. Lamia were rare anyway, even in their natural habitat. Ones that are mildly sane at times, such as herself, are considered miracles. And then there was the coincidences that would have to occur for their meeting would be ridiculous: both of them coming to this school, both of them would actually have to be able to stand the other one long enough to start any sort of relationship... Hell, the possibility of the other Lamia being a guy was already low enough.

The chances of finding a sane, friendly, male Lamia were virtually 0.

"I wouldn't hold out much hope trying to find another Lamia. You already know how bad it is for my race so... it's not really likely that there'd be another one here... But if you want to find someone, angelic or not, I can't really stop you."

"Fair enough." Rochelle laughed quietly as they walked out into a grassy courtyard between two buildings. "Sorry about your lack of a chance, though. Maybe there'll be someone out there for you. Don't give up on that thought." In a snap decision, and because it looked comfortable and inviting, she sat down in the grass and lay on her back, looking up at the clear sky.

Jeffery walked off into the courtyard sitting down on one of the stone benches littered around the edge, he looked up and stared at the sky for a while he started to close his eyes before a soft black cloud drifted toward him taking over his nostrils, Jeffery sniffed the air a few times immediately realizing the cloud was smoke from a cauldron, which happened to drift down from the second story of the building across from the dorms.

"well that can`t be good, they usually make that kind of smoke for only two reasons, it`s a pretty powerful potion, or someone is making a pretty powerful screw-up of one" Jeffery said to himself going back to staring at the sky and laying down on the concrete bench, trying to ignore the stench still drifting over him.

Lillith looked pensive for a moment, not that Rochelle would see this, and lied, "I won't..."

She'd already given up once before and after last night's debacle with Nathan she really didn't see the point in trying again. Even if she did find someone now she'd probably end up just having to leave Poemandres as well.

She stopped before realising that Rochelle had laid down on the grass. For a moment, the Lamia looked down at her friend quizzically. "You okay 'Chelle?"

You can make Jeffery come talk to Lillith and Rochelle if you want. It's more like they haven't noticed Jeff than that they're ignoring him. Trying not to draw attention to yourself just usually ends up with you not being noticed is all.
