It is said ,"it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all." No I dont agree love I would rather not know what love feels like. It tears you apart and I would rather never feel that again.

Try to understand that you, in life, are a midget in a tree. A really short guy a really long way up just trying to make it from branch to branch, and not fall on his head.

You take the good, you take the bad, put them together and there you have, the facts of life.

If you have a beard, a noticable hat, and the ability to see the future, stay away from Rome.

I learnt that one the hard way. Three times.

Peace will never be achieved as long as diversity exists, because killing folks is easy, empathizing is a pain in the ass.

Say something that sounds articulite, philosophical and generally wise. Something that covers the way you see the world or politics or life in general, that you would be happy to see yourself quoted as saying. You may say it in a way that is sarcastic or humorous, you can say it in a way that just seems deep.

Or you can scratch the whole idea and say something snarky and mocking.

Edit: Apparently my original intention was misunderstood, I meant for people to say something unique and original (or at least not verbatum quotes), however I find myself enjoying the quotes so I guess it's not all bad.
Here, this is one that I've always loved and is even on my Live bio-

"If wishes and buts were clusters of nuts we'd all have a bowl of granola!"

Very astute, I know.

Violence isn't the answer, violence is the question. The answer is "yes."

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

I think it's smart if you want to get laid...

"Wont you be mine on this night, when the ocean looks beautiful in the moonlight. Only with you can I share this view, the only thing more lovely is you." By Me.

I don't care if you use this on a girl, and if it doesn't work, then your screwed buddy.

It is not merely where the young and stupid are killed, but the place where the poor are killed for the sake of the rich.
so basically:when the rich wage war,it's the poor who die.
You just spent half a thread discussing what I can say in five words.
