Yeah, they are creepy at first, then they're fun!
OT: I guess some stuff from Bioshock as well, such as the fellow in the freezer room in Fort Frolic. (Sorry, forgot his name.)
Ice man cometh
The Iceman Cometh, Sander baby, the Iceman fucking Cometh!

OT: I found the room in the Welcome to Rapture level of Bioshock 1 scary, at the moment when Atlas tells you about the 1-2 Punch.
Another scary moment was in asthetics (not part of story). When you walk in, there is a chair with nothing in it. Then, smoke comes down and obscures your view. When it is gone, there is a body in the chair! Then, when you pick up a tonic while looking at a wall in the same room, the smoke comes again. When it is gone, there is a tall shadow right next to yours...
Aahhh, I remember those moments. It's a shame that the game doesn't have enough of them. Bioshock 2 only has like, one of those moments in total.
Dude, there was one moment that scared the hell out of me in Bioshock 2. In pershpone, when you are in the prison and go down to the showers, all hell breaks loose. Flickering lights, random splicers. But that was about the only one, which made me sad.

No, because getting all the health upgrades was infuriating without a guide, and by that stage I stopped caring. I had one left, and i'd have to start again because I missed it. Grr...
Damn...

Ironic thing is, he's a much easier boss than Kaileena.

Maybe I suck but she was bastard hard.

In order:

F.E.A.R. - Bad Water Level - Walking across the catwalk to the ladder, mounting the ladder and spinning down onto it, only to find yourself staring at Alma's feet, then hauling ass down the ladder to find Paxton talking into your ear on the left. Scared the shit out of me.

Vampire: Bloodlines - The entire Overlook Hotel (The Shining) remake level. Awesome.

All hell breaking loose was what let Persephone down, in my opinion. It just was too chaotic for Bioshock - but yes, the moment that it all kicks off is terrific, as you say.

Well, on hard I'd agree, she was motherfucking impossible, took me ages to finally get her...
Two thrones' last boss was laughably easy by comparison, and sands of time's laughably easy by any standard!

Silent Hill 4 probably, just because I hate being tormented and chased constantly by a creature I can not kill.
What about that giant head in the hospital level? When I saw that, I became paranoid of everything around me.

I found her hard even on Normal.

I couldn't dodge those damn whirlwinds! How the hell do you dodge those?

The final boss in TT was not too bad, although I did fail the 'jumping up the broken bits of scenery' part a few times, which was maddening.

When Sledgehammer knocks you over unexpectedly in Clock Tower 3. That shit was scary. He was the only boss I genuinely feared, he had the serial-killer persona, not like Scissorman and his Sister.

Haha, oh that, I got surprised the hell of by that thing but it was more of a jump scare than "oh god, this is so creepy", then again, I wanted to leave that room as fast as possible since it freaked me out.

My first fight with the colossi. The I think I defecated myself a little the just standing in the same area as them.
Well, it was that or my first encounter with that damn time demon from Prince of Persia 2: Warrior Within. Seriously, the hell was I supposed to do? I could barely out run the damn thing and there is n "beg for your dear life" option so I was kinda miffed as well as terrified.
Ah, the Dahaka... indeed a terrifying foe.

Did you get the secret ending?

you get to kill his ass
...No, i didn't. But now that I know there is one, I'm gonna unload a whole lot of pain suffering and retribution upon that mother of an a-hole time demon.

Go you!

Just make sure you get all the health upgrades and the Water Sword.

Use a walkthrough if you have to, it's very tough.

Tough? Your talking to the guy that beat ninja gaiden on it's second hardest difficulty setting without unlocking pussy mode. These free form fighting games are where I thrive. I don't care how long the fight is, it just means I have more time to enjoy making that f@&#er squirm.

OT: I thought of another terrifying enemy that I near shit myself fighting.
The final boss in Demon's Souls!
Yeah, I know he was basically harmless, but it's just I was scared to go near him the first time since up to till that point, the bosses had been getting ridiculously hard to kill. SO my instinct was that something was up. It took me 3 run throughs to realize that, yes, the final boss is just a retarded slug, and no, it won't turn into some god awful creature of death and rape me inside out.

Bioshock, in the Medical Pavilion. There's one room in one of the dentist's offices that fogs up as soon as you walk in. When the fog goes away and you turn around, there's a guy standing behind you, just staring at you. Scares me every time, even when I know it's coming.
I remember that moment. Once I got startled enough to fire the shotgun at him as a reflex. It was creepy and hilarious at the same time.

Probably Condemned: Criminal Origins, that game had me on the edge for a while. Made me jump when I zoomed the camera on the dead dudes face in a locker and he turned and grabbed me. lol I just knew in the back of my mind that when the girl over the mic said "I think i need a close up of his face" that something was bound to happen.
