Scary Games?

hey fellow...escapists? i want a scaryy game, and i dont mean, cheap jumps, or stuff that jumps out at you one time. i mean scary, or very tense, like scared to go in a room or turning it off it's that scary..

suggestions?

Well, one of my favorite games, Trilby's Notes isn't that scary, but it is atmospheric and probably something you might be interested in. It's the third game in Yahtzee's Chzo mysteries quadrilogy (you need to play the first two incredible games beforehand). Oh, and did I mention they're free? So that being the case I recommend downloading it from fullyramblomatic.com.

i never really got into scary games or movies for that matter but my older brother got really into fatal frame on the original xbox

Exmortis 1&2 are short but really scary. They are online flash games though, so you can't expect Fatal Frame. Which is an extremely scary series.

Condemned 1

Condemned 2 is terrifying for the first half, plus it has the most adrenaline pumping chase sequence I've ever played.

It gets awful silly in the second half though but it's still fun.

Clock Tower...any of them, ok maybe 3 was a little weak towards the end. Fatal frame deserves some mention as well.

Yea im old school like that, um im not sure about that stuff on fatal frame. I only played the first one for about 20 mins at a drunken party.

Yeah the way it was scripted was superb. And the lead up to it, where you hear it running around the building killing the army guys...

Fucking terrifying.

The torture chamber messed with my head too.
