In light of recent events, I told my Sis to check her PMs. Her death will be here shortly.

@Mortis: *is covered in slime*

Well that could have gone better. Maybe. T_T

Oh well, at least I was able to get one of you.

*places Malyc in permanent ghost containment chamber*

@Nouw: "Is this the motherfuckin' real life? Is it motherfuckin' fantasy?"

I'd be down with it. :p

@Jak: Good, good.

I have just been in touch with the murder victim, and they want me to write up their death for them. I think the reason for it will be self-explanatory. =)
It'll be a short piece, though. =/

As one life enters this world, another must depart. - Juxtapose Matt, Doomsday Arcade Episode 25

The above phrasing could not be more wrong... for as the Priest gave his life in exchange for that of one he believed to be one of the two Medics, a third person observed the scene.

Two graves in the Murderville Cemetery were disturbed that night. Into one fell the dying Priest, and out of the other rose the grubby form of Atticus. Digging through six feet of earth tends to leave some on your person.

No sooner had the man stepped clear of his former prison than a flash of silver caught his eye and a blade entered his throat. The metal carved straight through Atticus's neck, severing the head from its shoulders. The headless corpse fell back down into the loose, recently turned earth of its own grave: the killer caught the head by its hair before it could follow suit.

The decapitator used the head to wipe their sword clean of blood, before throwing the ghastly dripping thing after the rest of its body. They left the blade at the scene, completely clear of any trace that could lead it to its owner. It mattered little: the killer knew they wold not discover Atticus's freshly re-dead body until they had buried their own victim later that week.

[HEADING=2]Yep, War Penguin is once again the murder victim! Time to vote again...[/HEADING]

OOC: Whoever the killer is, they have some kind of vendetta against WP.
If we had another priest, we could test this theory...

@CA: I'm glad people still remember Doomsday Arcade. Of all of the series that have ever aired on The Escapist, that one is my favorite by an extremely wide margin.

@WP: Looks like I was wrong...I was certain that you would be protected this round. Guess I misplaced my faith in the other medic. :(

@Berenzen: I would go to that concert for MuteMath alone. I'm not a super huge fan of a lot of the bands advertised there but it looks like it would be a pretty fun concert none-the-less.

Count me jealous. :/

@Link: I freaking love Doomsday Arcade. Shanks still makes videos on YouTube. I particularly enjoy his "How I Play Skyrim". That one always gets a laugh out of me.

There Will Be Brawl is also one of my favourites on the Escapist. It's just a shame neither are still running.

@CA: Ah yes...There Will Be Brawl. I still consider the time when those two shows were airing as the golden age of The Escapist. Doomsday Arcade, There Will Be Brawl, Unforgotten Realms, the beginning of Unskippable, and even Zero Punctuation. I could not tear myself away from this site to save my life.

I'm still disappointed that we don't see drama like There Will Be Brawl or the latter parts of Doomsday Arcade anymore. I don't think I've ever gotten as emotionally invested in an online series as I have with those two, even if both got sort of messed up near the end.

I didn't realize that Shanks was still making videos, but I'm glad he is. I'll have to go look them up immediately. ^_^

@CA: I also loved Doomsday Arcade. It was the first series I started watching after about a year and a half of only coming to this site for Zero Punctuation.

@Link: Oh, Unforgotten Realms... I miss that series. Back before things started to go haywire, it was a great laugh.

And yes. We could use a bit more drama in our video series. Sadly, I don't have the time, materials or manpower to create something myself. Role-playing makes a nice alternative, though.
