We cut off Lenin's head and took it with us on the submarine? Oh great, even if the killer doesn't get us, we're all going to be executed for treason when we get back anyway.
All the more reason to just keep sailing until you get to a safe harbor.

I recommend San Diego.
Don't be an idiot.
There's a perfectly good dry dock in Norfolk, Virginia that we can get to instead.
But only if it's true that his head is somewhere on this vessel. I will not risk death upon returning home because some crew member thought it would be funny to play a prank like a dirty american teenager.

Walking around a soviet nuclear submarine can be maddening at times. Especially when your overly squat features make you look like a Jack-O-Lantern. I suppose the shape of your face doesn't directly translate into a level of insanity, but you certainly drink more than your fair share of vodka. This tends to leave the mind a little less gripped by reality than average.

I was walking along the corridors thinking about my Russian popcorn bag wife, when I started to hear voices coming from the mess hall. "This is no time for eating!" I thought. "I've got a few minutes before I need to go guard Lenin's head, let's see what's going on."

Despite my attempts to be quiet, it seemed as if my lumbering gait gave these seemingly conspirators notice. I entered to find the mess hall deserted. The lights were on in the kitchen though, so I crept along one wall towards the back of the hall and into the kitchen. I could swear I heard whispering.

When I reached the middle of the kitchen, the whispering sounded like it was coming from the freezer. The door was ajar, so I decided it might just be noise from an air compressor I'd heard. "Silly Crysan. You're not much of a comrade if you get jumpy at the hum of a motor!"

As soon as I reached the door and removed the wedge holding it open, I realized my mistake. A shuffling movement behind me made me realize they were hiding in between two appliances, and it wasn't a motor humming. I was able to catch a brief chorus from the whisper now.

"We're having pumpkin pie tonight. We're having pumpkin pie tonight."

Time felt like a liquid presence. I was able to hear and understand those two sentences all in the time it took for me to start turning around. Right before I turned enough to catch a glimpse of who it was, a devastating pain erupted in my side again and again.

I felt my strength instantly draining from me, moments before the shock registered that I had just been stabbed. I wanted to crane my neck up to see who it was and shout an alarm, but I was too far gone. My neck was no more movable than the locked steel door of a bank vault.

The last thing I did was laugh a little, as the universe became darker and darker. "Whis...pers. In the... deep." I died with a mirthful grin on my haunting face.

I've died, and I was an innocent!

A+ for the creepy factor of having the killer blatantly taunting us this round.

Well...EvilRoy is still listed at the top of the list...
So again, vote off EvilRoy and if that doesn't work go for Demagogue?

Yes, I've found EvilRoy's behavior highly suspicious from the start. Most people simply say "whatever" when they are targeted the way EvilRoy is. After all, it wasn't like there were any better suspects, so why bother arguing against it? But he's been kicking and screaming the whole way. I'd also like to note that the people targeting EvilRoy are slowly being whittled down. Gritch got executed, presumable targeted by the killer and lawyer, cause his behavior didn't point to him being on the side of evil in the least, and we know it wasn't the trickster. Now Crysan was killed, somebody who has also stated his intention to go for EvilRoy.

Oh sure, you could argue that the Killer is simply playing it this way intentionally to frame EvilRoy, but come on, let's presume for a moment that EvilRoy is the killer, and you've got people determined to execute you. You simple have no alternative but getting them killed off to pull votes away from you. He simply had no choice but to target certain people. I mean, he targeted Crysan over freakin' Caramel Frappe, who publicly admitted that he had a role for crying out loud!

Of course, we still need to get the spy's list. But if EvilRoy is on it, or we got unlucky with the spy's question and don't get any information, then everyone, please target EvilRoy. In any case, it's better than simply letting our votes get split up like they have been previously.

EDIT: Just had a derp moment and didn't realize Headsprouters list was the list he got from his spy question. Bugger. Oh well, nothing's changed really, kill EvilRoy, etc.

@Head: Err... I'm pretty sure that question would cut down the list, not sure what snekadid was thinking at the time.

The Doppelgängers username must have more than 7 characters, so Head just gets a list of all the players.

@FatHippo I dunno. Seems like killing targets that would obviously implicate yourself seems like a bad play. I don't like assuming my opponents are incompetent. I still think we're jumping at straws. gritch died because there was, what, a six way tie with two votes apiece? RNG killed gritch. Roy had two votes, king had two votes, Arma had two votes, Secondhand Revenant had two votes, I had two votes.

Then what? Frappe's still alive? I mean, sure, good bait them saying they had a role, but just because the killer didn't bite doesn't prove anything. The critical roles are already accounted for.

I'm going to stick with Aero's list. It's something at least. That my two most suspicious targets are on it leads me to believe it'll at least have the lawyer, which is a damn sight better than nothing.

I like this doppelganger role. Bloody disheartening as the killer once the spy even gets a single question off.

Aero's list is based on the fact that the mystery poster was part of round 68, right? Well that doesn't actually tell us that much, since it could very well be the Lawyer who is working as the mystery poster. Only one of the two bad guys needs to have played in that round, so this fact about EvilRoy doesn't exclude him from suspicion.

I dunno. Seems like killing targets that would obviously implicate yourself seems like a bad play. I don't like assuming my opponents are incompetent.
It's only a bad move if people actually suspect you for it, and since people consider it an obviously bad move, it can be a good move if you know that these people will consistently vote for you. Three or more consistent votes every round are almost guaranteed to end the Killer in the long run, forcing him into a gamble of openly killing the people gunning for him.

It's true that gritch was killed by the RNG, but why did he have two votes at all? He was one of the least suspicious players this round, to my mind, so until people come forward with their rationale with why they voted for him, I'm going to assume it was the Killer and his Lawyer. A lot of assumptions, yes, but it's not like we got anything else.

Yeah anyway, I'm gonna eat a lot of shit and look like a moron if EvilRoy turns out to be innocent, but I'd rather be certain than let him get away.

@Hippo: Doesn't matter if the mystery poster is the Lawyer, if they're executed it'll still negatively effect the Killer.

His point is that it doesn't exclude EvilRoy from suspicion, not that the list can't be useful. Just it doesn't ignore the rest of the evidence we already had for EvilRoy

@Revenant: Okay, I haven't been paying attention to the game that closely, so what exactly is the evidence against EvilRoy?

@Head: Yes.
