for those complaining about mario, zelda, etc, I think they could work if nintendo would just, for the love of god, evolve the gameplay. mario sometimes does interesting stuff, but zelda's been the same damn game every time. don't get me wrong, I LOVE that game, but I NEED variety!

While i agree that the majority of 'movie-to-game' conversions are uber-shite to say virtually none exists isn't true (i know, i'm arguing semantics, just wanted to point out there were some good movie-to-game conversions).

also tv companies need to display better ways of exposing the nations comic talent that isn't a panel show. Although i enjoy watching Have I Got News For You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks or Mock the Week, the format is tired and haggered. Infact some of the best bits of these shows come from the unscripted bits that have little to do with the format. These too need to stop (but not until they've come up with something better)
So basically what this thread has shown us is that any series which anyone disagrees with should end, right? Nevermind that other people might enjoy it. No, it has to END because YOU dislike it and therefore it's an offence to your eyes whenever you walk past it in a shop. I think Saddam Hussein (dodged the Godwin) had a similar idea about people who disagreed with his political regime. Nice tolerance Gaming Community, you're doing wonders.

I think those series should end but they will not because those franchises bring money.
I don't put FF on my list because of one simple reason. No not because I like those games but because I don't see them as a series. They don't have any connection in story or character (there are some games which have connections I know).You can put another name on every game and nobody would care about (okay maybe some people would say "They could just call it FF XX because it's pretty much the same"). So I don't really understand why some people say FF. Maybe they think it's a series who knows.

Unreal Tournament - UT3 died a painful death and that particular franchise appears to be out of ideas.
Medal of Honour - Endless rehashes of WW2 shooters, and still not a single WW1 game in sight. Or a Napoleonic war game either.
GTA - the last one was painful to play.

... Until you've done all the classics. I'm a bit sickened by Guitar Hero actually. About... 6 or so games, and they haven't put Smells Like Teen Spirit in there.
I mean no offense to people who make these topics, but I frankly think that sometimes they just cause a bit too much frustration for people. Namely me, but I'm not gonna moan, because that makes me look stupid.
