I broke up with my boyfriend monday because he cheated one me.. he came to my house last night begging for me back and i sure as hell wasn't giving him another chance. Then i talked to my mom about it and she was convincing me to take him back...what the hell?

so i was wondering if any of you have ever gotten strange advice from your parents

You should of told him to do the piggy dance, then film it:D

I'm a little piggy here's my snout...

Oops, ok uh, I don't ask advice from my parents because I can figure it out myself.

My mother is always trying to influence my career choices. And she never lets go, like a rabid dog...

In terms of your ex, just let him rot. Guys like that don't deserve relationships, no matter how sorry they are

My mom's official 'sex-related' advice was to 'tie a knot in it', and by it, she meant my tallywahcker.

Gee... seems like it might ruin the mood, just a little.

I used to think my parents advice was stupid.
Then I grew up.

Now I see that my parents are very wise, and I was an idiot.

But in this case, I would disagree with your mother.
Cheaters only learn when they lose, not when they get away with it.

"Don't sit on your pillow it will give you bum sores".

The advice not to sit on my pillow because it is unhygenic is fine. It's the lame reason that she came up with that was pure duh!

As highly unfortunate as that is, and I am sorry a bout it, nope, my mum has pretty much always been on the ball with me. However, not living with my dad means I can't tell you what kind of advice he would give me, but I'm sure it would suck.

That is because you became one of them, one of those adults that think only adults are wise when they make more mistakes and more morally wrong decisions then children.
