There's some really bizarre equivalency going on here with some of you people thinking that there's no real difference between a ten year old taking his clothes off for money at the request of an adult and the actions of that adult enticing him to do so. There's a reason we differentiate between adults and minors, and in this case, it isn't even a close call.
Kids do dumb things. Really, really dumb things. So do adults, but most Western societies choose to have some pretty strict lines separating one from the other, for some pretty well established reasons. Do you think that children should be held to the exact same standards as adults? Should there be no age of consent?
Yes, screaming for this guy's head on a pike is overblown, and our laws definitely don't support that, either, and at worst he's going to be found to be contributing to the delinquency of a minor or possibly drawn up on possession of child pornography for having the pictures provided, none of which comes close to meriting the death penalty in the United States.
Still, we generally don't prosecute the people that the laws are designed to protect, and thus somehow punishing this kid through the legal system would make absolutely no sense.
