"I just saw it!" Kojiro shook his head. "Roku, you're crazy. Leave that thing here...or at least put it in your bag?- Wait what I am saying! Leave it here!"

He leaned against the door, life was already stressful enough as it was, eh didn't need Isoroku bringing his gun to class.

Rin made her way out of the dorms and through the court yard at a normal pace. So far her good mood seemed to be doing well, and she signed contently as she enjoyed the morning air. She glanced around briefly, searching for Isoroku or Kojiro, but didn't see either of them. 'I hope isoroku is feeling alright. Kojiro is right every time we come back from down there he seems to disappear.'

She quickly finished her walk and arrived in class. She noticed neither of them were here either, as she settled into her seat. Deciding she had nothing else to do, Rin pulled out her school work to make sure she had everything in order for class today.

"Fine. Sure. I'll leave it behind."

But he didn't. His mock-removal of the weapon sure was convincing, though. Isoroku grabbed up his school bag and herded Kojiro into the hall with his chopsticks. "Okay, come on, let's get moving."

------

He blinked at Akinari blankly for a moment and then smiled and nodded.

"See you in class, then."

Eber headed out to the gymnasium to shower and change, then reported to homeroom.

------

Hikaru's eyes were wide as saucers.

"B-But... Hasegawa-san. It sounds like you've had a... a lucid dream or something. Shouldn't you pay a visit to the doctor?"

"Great!" Kojiro smiled, he felt more at ease now. Why does Isoroku always have to be so difficult? "So anyway...I was talking to Rin, we're gonna get some rope from the gym and use it to go back through that goopy portal. I want to check out that other area."

He walked along with Isoroku to class hoping he'd like this idea. His friend was usually all for the exploration of the tunnels and thrill seeking. And this was certainly thrilling.

"Huh?" Shiori asked. "No I swear, I feel perfectly fine. I haven't felt this good in a long time." She leaned back in her chair. "I feel totally set to take on the day."

The day had started out relatively well for Kumiko and if the lessons ahead didn't ruin it, she might have a great rest of the day. She sat at her desk, smiling forward.

---

Akinari met up with Eber in the classroom, handing him his boxed breakfast. "It's not as big as usual. Is it alright?" He'd have to make up for the lacking meals later when he had a little more supplies and energy.

Yamada sat at his desk studying the notes he'd made on the reading material the night before and glanced back offering a friendly half smile to Mizushima, glad that there were some people he now found familiar enough for a gesture like that.

--------------------

Satoshi looked positively wrecked. By the tie most of the other students were in the class he was dead asleep on his desk, bruised face buried in his arms.

"Sure--you first, of course."

------

Eber took his seat, and the box, with nothing less than a perfectly pleased smile. "Anything is more than enough, Aki-kun, you take care of me every day without complaint." He clapped him on the back appreciatively, then dug around in his bags for his school books.

------

"G-Good. I suppose. I mean, of course it is..." If it had been anything else, Hikaru would've been one hundred percent supportive. Anything at all besides the spelunking of evil. "M-Maybe you won't have to go again!"

As the bell rang and the first class period started, she thought on that. It had not behooved her to block these other users off from the tunnels once they had functioning use of their Personas--yet, experience reminded her that those who had not been so fortunate became corpses. It might be for Shiori's own good if she informed the others... Maybe introduced her... She couldn't help but eye the other girl throughout class.

Lunch period soon begins.

M-Maybe you won't have to go again!

Shiori nodded after Hikaru said that. The goal was accomplished. No more nightmares. There was no reason to going back there.

But as the class went on, she got to thinking about the tunnels. She was making herself curious. What was it that attacked her? What was it protecting? Why did Ma'at pull her down there in the first place? These proved to be more interesting questions then the ones being asked by the teacher about History.

By the time the lunch bell rang she was still unsure if she was seriously considering going back to the tunnels or not. 'Maybe some food will help me decide...'

When the lunch bell rang, Takuya stood up and exited the classroom. He did not look back at Seiya, he hadn't even taken notice of her all day. And for the time being things were going to stay that way.

Right now he had a mission. He had received permission from Tsukiyomi and Fujita's teacher to put them on cleaning detail for the week. He was sure they'd be thrilled at idea. He made his way to class room 1-A, and opened the door.

"Tsukiyomi! Fujita! Come here."

The good mood she was in carried over to lunch. She definitely enjoyed the attention she got from Eber. It was certainly better than the near constant belittling she received from Kojiro.

'I might just have to pay 1-A a little visit one of these days...'

---

Akinari's usual chipper mood plummeted into a nervousness that wrenched his gut when he heard Mori call him. He jumped in his seat, giving Eber a 'Oh God, why me?' look. The boy shot up from his seat and hurried over to Mori.

"Y-Yes, Mori-senpai?"

Satoshi's head shot up at being addressed, eyes wide, looking briefly like a frightened animal. He looked over at the other boy being called upon and stumbles up out of his seat, gathering his things. He didn't say a word at all as he made his way up. He did his best not to look at anyone and kept his head pointedly down. He stood just in front of Mori with his eyes still trained down on his shoes, worried to look up for anything, wondering just what Mori was up to, shuddering just at the feeling of his power that always seemed to sort of tingle around him. He hated the way it crawled across his skin.

Eber's glare was in no small part a territorial warning towards Mori.

------

Hikaru kept to herself over lunch, though she couldn't hide her disappointment and concern at being once again neglected by Mori-sama. She pondered the matter of the tunnels over in her head before saying to Shiori, "Hasegawa-san. If you... If you should experience any more insomnia... Please let me know. Maybe I could help."

Shiori was a bit surprised Hikaru was taking such an interest in her sleeping issues, especially since she said she pretty much resolved it. But still, the offer was a nice gesture. It confirmed the friendship in her eyes.

"Yeah, definitely Seiya-san," she replied. "I'll let you know."

She thought about the tunnels, about what she had gone over in her head during class. If she did want to go back there, she had to get a better idea of what it was that was down there. Any legends in the area that might be linked to them, or any gangs that might be using it for cover and didn't want someone poking around.

"Hey, Seiya-san. I was wondering...what do know about the tunnels, like legend wise? There aren't any tales of dragons or anything down there, are there?"

Takuya crossed his arms, and smiled, "You two are in charge of cleaning the freshman class rooms until further notice. You may ask other students for help in the matter, but it is your job to make sure it gets done at the end of the day. Fail and there will be consequences."

He uncrosses his arms and rest his hands on his hips, "Understand?"

----

Kojiro turned in his seat to talk to Rin and Isoroku during lunch, "Hey Rin, sorry we didn't get to see you this morning...Roku was taking is time getting ready." Kojiro glared around at the other boy. "Did you sleep well?"

Satoshi's head snapped up to him, eyes hardened. He didn't just want to accept this. He wasn't going to let Mori just have his way again. Even if he got beat again he wasn't going to just lie down and take it. He was having a hard time opening his mouth though. There in front of the class, against the president, not somewhere they were on any semblance of equal footing. He just stared up at him sort of funny, trying to get up his never, but all that came out was. "Why?"

It was enough. He was sure it was enough. Even in his quiet, nervous voice it would be plenty. Even if Mori was the only one that heard it. No one questioned or fought him and as soon as he realized that he wasn't sure it had been such a great idea. He shouldn't have to do this though. There was an explanation to why he and Fujita were the only ones called out to do this. He understood why he was being forced into it after the previous night, but why Fujita too? That was the bit that had him confused. How would he reason it for a class.

His face went a shade paler when it hit him that he wouldn't have to. That was the point. Nothing had to be reasoned or rationalized to anyone. This was the president. He could do whatever he wanted just by virtue of him being him. He was much more afraid of Mori than he was sure he would be of any of those shadows.

Takuya's eye twitched a bit. 'Did he just question us?' He could feel Styx grip his shoulder in anger. She was ready to teach the boy a lesson again. he took a deep breath and smiled at Tsukiyomi in a sickening way.

"Because you two are the best." Takuya pointed to Fujita, "After the exceptional job you did cleaning the team lockers, the coach cannot stop raving about you, Fujita-kohai." He then pointed at Tsukiyomi, "And the library staff always drones on about how well you take care of the school's possessions Tsukiyomi-kohai. And as of late, the freshmen class rooms have been disorganized and far under par. So I suggested to the teachers that some freshmen should permeability be in charge of making sure the rooms look good. Think of it as being working supervisors. Each week you two will select a team and clean."

Takuya crossed his arms and let a fake look of concern cross his brow, "However, if you do not wish to, I will tell your teachers...They will be disappointed that the two students the so highly recommended felt they were too busy to take care of their school...But it cannot be helped." That is to say, they came highly recommended by faculty with some guidance from the student council president to select these two. But Takuya himself never said their names first during the selection process.

"I-", Akinari bit his tongue. There was no denying that he was terrified of Takuya. He didn't expect to see him again for a long time. Even when he didn't cross him, it was like Mori just liked to pick on the poor boy. "E-every day?"

'He can't possibly...'

Takuya nodded with a grin, "Everyday. Don't worry, I'm sure with your charisma and out going natures you'll quickly put together a team of students and have the rooms cleaned in no time."

Satoshi hated the sound of this and was positive he would have refused, would have fought him on this, but everyone was watching, all of them would know and the boy beside him looked so upset. He realized then that Mori was talking almost exclusively to Akinari. He had to be. No one would fall for anyone ever, even jokingly calling Satoshi charismatic or outgoing. Most people had no idea who he even was, and he liked it that way, but this was interesting now.

He needed to know what Mori's issue with Akinari was. He wouldn't have cared what his teachers or the library staff thought of him, but it looked like the other boy would care on his end. He was intrigued ad also didn't want to make him face it alone. "No. I will do it. You don't have to say anything to them." He tried to make himself sound scared but wasn't sure how top notch his acting was.

He supposed the fear wasn't too terribly far from the truth though. He felt that damp rage coming from Mori again, that sickening, disturbing fury and it was the last thing he wanted to face. He knew he couldn't take it head on now. They were too strong for him, and the fight was over, but if he could find some weakness, some undoing of either of them he could use it to his benefit, keep a repeat performance of last night from ever happening. "I would hate to let down the school."
