Treyarch are an excellent company. Don't troll, actually give us a reason, or this'll get locked. Quick.

Probably just those irritating little things in games that seem to have no other function that annoyance.
Okay, so you get mad at him for stating an opinion without backing it up. Then post an answer to his question that is ultra generic and says nothing specific or remotely interesting. Sorry, but I couldn't let that go unnoticed. Also, why would this get locked, because you'd report him?

OT: So many to choose from but I'll say not providing a controllable camera in third person action games.

Yours is equally generic. Generic isn't necessarily bad, it's trolling I was pointing out. An aggressive statement with no backing is asking for flame. It'd get locked for turning into a flame war, which there's a chance of with comments like that floating around.

WIN! Even though I can play online, I don't want to play ranked matches against kids who might headbutt the wall if they lose and will scream abuse at me if they win.

'Scuse me?

I guess you are, like me, another that was dissapointed with Oblivion because it was less sandboxy, more hand-holding, and generally worse than Morrowind.

Then again, there are the people who love Oblivion and dislike Morrowind - these are mostly the guys who played Oblivion first.

I reckon they can satisfy us both - by making a completely different game. You know, LIKE THEY DID WITH THE LAST 4.
I am playing Oblivion now and I am loving it. I have no qualms with people saying it sucks, but as I haven't even touched Morrowind, I obviously can't compare. I will say however, that the game stands alone and is a real time sinker.

As for Sandbox vs Hand-holding... I don't really understand what you mean. Saints Row and GTA are both pretty much sand box games, but once you're following a mission, you can only go one way.

*slap* bad Bioware, stop basing all of your games in the AD&D ruleset.

*slap* bad Blizzard, start making your patches all encompassing so it doesn't take me a month to start playing Warcraft again.

*slap* bad Fredrick Rynal, give us LBA 3 for god's sake!

The founder of time-limit missions. *slap*
Niko Bellic for being so bad that he almost dies when a car hits him at about 1kp/h. *slap*
Online achievements/trophies. *Slap slap*
The PS3-triggers. *slap* (Seriously, you can't actually hold on to them as you for example drive in a game, your fingers'll just slip off.)
Quick time events, press X to slap. *slap* (But they're brilliant in GoW, but that's probably because I'm a fanboy..)

Fallout 3's stimpak system. I assume you inject the stimpack system into a body part, when you are crippled you inject it into a specific body part to heal it with a major cost (example, taking a stimpak you get 100 HP, but when you do a specific body part you get 10). So what body part do you inject it into when you are completely crippled to not heal the body part and give you 100 HP?

It's confusing to explain but if you can make sense out of what I said then you'll understand how stupid it is.

Things in a game you want to slap a dev. about and just say "No".

Borderlands; exceptional game in just about every aspect, just one things gets me, dollars? Were on another freakin' world called Pandora! Can't the currency be called Pandorans or Chaosics?

Another is Treyarch for existing.

Oh and Infinity Ward, stop catering for online arses who will do nothing but camp and use the grenade launcher all day.
Would have thought you would have slapped them for Claptrap.

OT: Sonic Team. To knock some sense into them.

Hear hear!

This I would *****-slap them for, but I know how to kill campers so the point becomes moot

I played Morrowind first, then Oblivion, and decided I liked Morrowind better. Then I tried going back to Morrowind and decided that Oblivion is a million times better, no question.

Having to find a single door to a cave in the middle of the massive land of Morrowind with nothing but the vague directions of an NPC? That's a big slap to Bethesda.

How exactly did they do that? Seriously, I get the vibe that this forum doesn't like Oblivion simply because Yathzee doesn't like it. And Yes, I played Morrowind, and yes, it was better, but because the prequel is slightly better the the current doesn't make the current bad. It just simply means they fucked up slightly, they still did a good game by many standards, they just spent too much time on the graphics rather than the content.
