Yeah, CoD3 was internet sniper training - basic. Then it became too easy and CoD4 was the challengeWeedWorm said:I was in the top 300 snipers in CoD3 when I played it. This was after CoD4 came out so theyre werent many people playing but still, Im quite proud of it. I couldve gotten to a higher rank but I got CoD4 and stopped playing CoD3 entirely.
I can pretty much back it up by showing off my Gamebattles rank - at one point 60,000 out of over 500,000 ranks - having only played COD4 I think that would prove me and my clan won a lot of matches.Spirultima said:I'll prove you wrong in 6 words: Prove it and prove me wrong. Unless you can back up everything you've said, well then i guess it makes it easier to shrug a single persons presumptions off without hesitations. I've never said im the best, i admit i die, frequently, my point has always been, there are 2 types of snipers, 1. the real someone who will use a sniper whenever possible, in story, CQC maps. and 2. the seasonal sniper he will come to the sniper every now and then, but doesn't use it that much. I want to see how many number 1 sniper there are.
AND your clan? means nothing to me, im talking solo.D_987 said:I think that would prove me and my clan won a lot of matches.
If you lose a match you lose points...Spirultima said:AND your clan? means nothing to me, im talking solo.D_987 said:I think that would prove me and my clan won a lot of matches.
If you play a game long enough, eventually you can hit 100.

Grab a machine gun and advance the objective.
that is the minimum.Spirultima said:Just 3?cabooze said:If a squad of soldiers run through a normal sized room and you manage to get a head shot on all of them before they exit the room on the other side AND you have an escape plan ready just in case someone tries too make it too your sniper position you are a awesome sniper (extra points if you have at least 3 sniper spots on every map of the game you are playing)
dame right =] closing in on the target is what its all about *thumbs up*Count_de_Monet said:If you're a sniper you are a waste of a player slot.

Well if your an Assault Rifle user, surely you would have taken out a sniper, at long range, now don't you find that rather strange, that someone who should kill you, you kill with ease, of course not you think "its your right" but i argue.Chester41585 said:You, sir, are my hero.Count_de_Monet said:If you're a sniper you are a waste of a player slot.

Sniping pisses me off plain and simple. If there's one thing I hate more than one cock-eyed retard blindly lobbing grenades across a map, it's his buddy hunkered down behind a sandbag and stagnant barrel of dog urine picking me off again and again and again and again and again and... You get the idea.
There's nothing a decent assault rife can't accomplish, unless for some reason you really really need to hit that guy 1,000 yards away.
Also, there's this idea that the Sniper class requires some amount of ultra-human skill to master. This couldn't be further from the truth. How hard is it really to sit in one place and wait for someone to walk in front of you? Now, if you are an actual sniper in the armed forces, then, yes, you have that skill. In game? No. Especially when there's no bullet drop, no need to lead your target, no adjusting for wind and atmospheric variables and (importantly) no need for a spotter.
I'm looking at you CoD4.
