Ugh. The opening post is such a mess that I've felt the need to clear up some points for the obviously uninformed.

Before anyone starts crying about people having different opinions, I just want to say that I respect a contrasting opinion.
First of all, opening a thread by attaching a boilerplate statement to it that describes anyone with the sheer nerve to not agree with you as someone "crying" does your argument no favours whatsoever. It only serves to throw up a big red flashing
"Brace yourself, this is going to be full of that which is unjustifiable" sign. The two parts of that sentence are completely in contradiction with one another.

But this right here is just stupid. Having played this game for only 20 mins at a friends house halfway through the story I can honestly say its amazing.
Swap the order of those two sentences around and you've got a pretty accurate description of how your attitude towards this comes across. What you consider "amazing" might not be what everyone else considers "amazing", but it's difficult for anyone to really tell, because you offer no justification for that statement. You don't comment at all on what it is that's so enthralled you for those twenty whole minutes. No commentary on control set-up, plot, dialogue, quality of voice-acting, music, etc. We are supposedly to just take your word for it. Sorry, no dice. Whatever it it was that captivated you for that stretch of time might have seemed to someone else as twenty minutes of excruciating mediocrity or outright terribleness that they'll never get back.

Every other magazine/reviewer has given this game amazing scores.
No, they haven't. Only the ones you've chosen to read. There have been many legitimate complaints about several aspects of this particular game, from the bug-ridden state of it's release, to design issues like an overly harsh initial combat phase where you lack the appropriate skillset to deal with it at that point in the game, not to mention that some parts are barely more than an interactive movie with incongruous sounding dialogue, and the loot system is seemingly quite arbitrary.
Releasing a patch to improve framerate by promises of "up to 30%" should tell you something about the quality of pre-release testing. That it was originally released with no option to invert the mouse was a terrible oversight, and yes, patching may have fixed that, but they've even managed to make a mess of the patching itself, with Steam users being forced to repeatedly download the entire game again. And don't even get me started on the DRM, as that's a whole other messy dicussion.
Incidentally, you won't find that every review even gets aggragated into something like Metacritic, as not all reviewers choose to go down the route of awarding scores at all. Because, you know, they don't have to. Rock, Paper, Shotgun for instance, do not. So that is at least one extremely well written review that takes a balanced view of the game that you won't have been familiar with. Not to mention the fact that Witcher 2 fans seem to have the same kind of hive mentality that gave rise to the Darkfall/Eurogamer debacle, seeming determined to take issue with ANY form of criticism of their baby as though they were waging some sort of holy crusade. You need only turn to The Escapists' very own Zero Punctuation for the evidence of that. Look at the number of comments that video received in comparison with. The number is currently approaching 700 at time of writing this, while others have yet to break the 200 mark. It's frankly ridiculous to adopt the attitude that simply shouting louder and longer than others will provide you victory when they get tired of listening to you rant and walk away to do something more interesting.
And here I feel the need to quote the closing words of that aforementioned review by Rock, Paper, Shotgun;
The Witcher 2 is flawed in some ways, and a paragon in others. I cannot recommend everyone play it, because it simply won?t satisfy everyone in the same way, and will frustrate and off-put many with its bizarre little quirks of difficulty and moments of poor design. But I will recommend everyone buy it, because I want to play another one. And another one. And many more after that."

Barack Obama recieved this game as a gift
I once received a terrible looking sweater as a gift. It didn't make the product in any way desirable, or decently constructed. Also, I have yet to see Barack Obama post a review of the game. Has he even played it?

and yet this Edge gave it a 06/10.
From the way you use the words "This Edge", I can infer that you've never heard of the magazine in question before. For the record, they have been publishing for over 18 years now. Given the tone of your writing, it seems they have been around since before you were conceived. In those 18 years of operation, they have only ever seen fit to award a 10/10 score to 13 games. Only once has a game been awarded a 1/10 score by them. The magazine is recognised as being a quality one, in terms of both design, content and editorial stance. Many have attempted to emulate their style, few having managed it. (Games?, I'm looking in your direction.) They are one of the very few quality gaming media outlets I would choose to put any faith in. I may not always blindly agree with
everything that they publish, but statistically speaking, they are ahead of a very selective curve.
Oh, and Edge Magazine in conjunction with their owner Future Publishing, have just pretty much entirely dismantled in court the nefarious works of one Tim Langdell. If you aren't familiar with that story, please, use Google the way it was meant to be used, and rejoice at what they accomplished for The Greater Good.

I now officially know that they are just a buch of Nintendo and X-box nerds.
You don't "officially" know anything. You could not be more wrong, what with your complete lack of any research on the subject, and the manner in which you made a conscious choice to leave out other manufacturers from that wholly unjustifiable labelling speaks volumes by its' absence. Which you then continue with;

Here is a prediction of their scores for upcoming games
The next Mario game - (10/10)
Halo 4-(9/10)
Gears 3-(9/10)
Uncharted 3-(09/10)
Resistance 3-(04/10)
Anything Nintendo-(x>8/10)
Next Metal Gear-(09/10)-Because it's not a PS3 exclusive anymore. If it was then (07/10)
You don't get to pull "predictions" out of your ass and couch it as though it were fact. If the religious doomsayers, the weather forecast, the psychic hotlines and the horoscope writers can't do that with any measurable success, then what hope is there for an anonymous non-entity like yourself to be able to pull off that kind of stunt?
Why you seem to want to infer that Edge are biased towards Sony is something of a mystery as well, especially given the fact that The Witcher 2 is, for the moment, a PC exclusive.

Yeah, I went that extra mile on this one.
I have no idea what this sentence is even in reference to.

Before anyone bitches about me being biased I should say that I have all the next gen consoles so I dont actually need to be a fanboy.
You don't have to "*****" to point out demonstrable fact using cold hard logic. While you may not feel that you
need to be fanboy, what you've written fails the test. By a long way.
