So Brianna Wu's Revolution 60 came out on Steam

Edit: Also, while that was gullible, given everything else that's been dug up about the LWs it was honestly pretty darned feasible. Still, shame o us for listening and believing.

The usual GG BS, she was not really known as a game dev until she criticized GG, and they decided to 'make an example of her' with the usual harassment and threats.

As an addendum, the Daily Mail (yes, THAT Daily Mail) covered her leaving her home due to death threats, which led to GG calling the paper an 'SJW mouthpiece', which tells you how little value SJW has as a term.

Donald Trump recieves death threats constantly, that doesn't put him above criticism. To use a more relevant example Totalbiscuit receives horrible threats and unlike Wu he tries to avoid conflict. But you don't see people trying to deflect criticism against them with that do you.

Now if you where an honest person you would have listed what Brianna was first known for.

She first drew attention by having an alt where she would pretend to be a male gamer saying things like "I get off on watching Lara Croft die" and insulting GG, defending a friend of hers who was a well known man-hater who explicitly said she genuinely hated men, not the ironic cute kind, but you would try and have us believe that people just randomly targeted this nobody dev.

This game was actually posted on steam before, she got caught starting false flag threads in her own games forum to try and drive up sympathy.

The mods on steam had to warn her because she started insulting gamers when it wasn't selling.

Bunch of other crap, point is, don't be dishonest about these things, it also the reason people consider professional victim a thing when you point out all the bad things that happened to them and leave out what they are actually like as a person.

I only casually pay attention to this shit, but is the alternative account thing true? I hear it so often about the usual suspects.

I suppose I'm asking for a link to the smoking gun evidence, just because I can't imagine any of them having any kind of legitamacy after it's proven they did something like that.

Wu admits to having the fake account in the disastrous interview she did with David Pakman. It's well worth watching on Youtube.

Its like, the cinematography, the animations and the functionality of the models are good. But the designs and color schemes are the worst of DA rainbow scenes. Its not well put together at all.

That thread actually refers to another tweet, one calling an autistic person a "fucking aspie", which Brianna Wu DIDN'T post. (It was another account that pretended to be Wu, by replacing a lowercase L in her screen name with a capital I.) She DID, however, post the mocking child picture. No idea whether it depicts an actual distressed autistic child. But this would have been around the same time she was posting her "gamer dude" alt tweets, including the one about getting an erection from watching Lara Croft get impaled. (It's curious how her mind works.) And after a while of that kind of stuff, there were the famous death threats made by some temp Twitter account, and her convenient capture of them at the instant they were made. The rest is media history.

While I believe that quite a few of the negative reviews are genuine and are specifically targeting the game; looking at the rest, you start to suspect that these are mostly GamerGaters and alt-righters who have a long-lasting axe to grind with Miss Wu.

Wow, 37 whole reviews. Looking at the reviews themselves, you can see that ,the overwhelming majority actually talk about the failings of this game rather than how bad BW is.

You have my best wishes for a speedy recovery haha. To this day I still don't fully comprehend what the whole thing was about. All I know is there were a large amount of people supremely pissed off with each other and stuff happened. Which sounds like a usual day on the internet now that I think of it.

But lets not walk this road haha, next thing I know I'm in a hospital bed next to you with a 10 foot pole shoved up my butt.

On a whole different note; I can grab the ultimate edition of Forza Horizon 3 for free and I'm definitely jumping on this opportunity because I'm still recovering from having missed the chance to buy the Witcher 3 collectors for less than a $100. I've never played the Horizon series yet so I hope it ends up being great.

I have no idea who this woman is. To be honest, I stayed in the dark about the whole gamer gate (I fucking hate how every controversy is "gate" these days ... gates are getting a bad rap!) thing.

The game on the other hand, it looks disastrous. they are some PS2 graphics and I am far from a graphics whore but jeepers Julie! I am assuming the dev is some kind of SJW judging from the fact there are no males in the video I just watched.
