Now if you don't mind, I'm off to live on Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll for the next six months.

I'm honestly not sure what to think of this. Should I be worried? is it just another Doomsday theory that will never happen. Guess we'll find out in the 6 months.

I always had a feeling doomsday would be in my life time though, but I'm a pessimist.

Well, let whatever happens, happen. I doubt it will happen but if it does, oh well, I couldn't stop it, not my fault I nearly destroyed the human race.

Now with my thorough experiments of farting in the bath, the bubbles never form into one big bubble, and you need a spark to set the thing off, I say shenanigans on this.

And if there was truly a risk that all mankind would die in an instant, would you really try and run for the hills, you will probably be asleep when it happens anyway.

quoted from article:

"The bottom line: BP?s Deepwater Horizon drilling operation may have triggered an irreversible, cascading geological Apocalypse that will culminate with the first mass extinction of life on Earth in many millions of years.

The oil giant drilled down miles into a geologically unstable region and may have set the stage for the eventual premature release of a methane mega-bubble."

to me; the first paragraph says we might die in 55 million years.

THEN it says a pre-mature release of a bubble that they might have hit

ok. I'm going back to watching TV,

so far i've heard like 8 theories that we are all going to die becuase of some stupid thing. i don't care anymore, because whenever someone says something like this on the news, its the next big thing to be afraid about.
oh balls; it seems that someone has told us a possibility on how we will die. well i call bullshit.

Wow... BP has been getting a lot of bad reputation lately, imagine how they would feel if they killed the human race. xD

seems pretty stupid to think that everytime some geological event happens that it will kill everyone, no matter how small the event might be.

Looks like a bunch of bullshit.

Just like every other Doomsday theory.
Most bullshit doomsday theorys say that "Yeah, We might die in the next thousand years or something, can I have my geology degree now?". This theory is saying it will happen in the next six months. As far as bullshit doomsday theorys go, that's pretty ballsy.
But they don't lose anything if they're wrong. It's just another media fuck. They do this all the time. The media really enjoys instilling mass panick in the population. It keeps their minds off more pressing issues. Like when are we going to stop killing each other.
Actually, its "Citizen Journalists" - so like the media, but with fewer resources and even less risk of being sued.

Also, if that article is right, not alot that can be done about it, nor will anyone be around to say "Told you so".

Well looks like i'm going to have to go take some people up on their offers for weed and sex!

And I really don't think this is going to destroy us, more theory's that will make me have to make more survival plans.
