Soooo.... who wants to start up an unofficial Escapist Expo here in the UK?

We already have one, it's called Escapism UK. Here's our User Group [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/Escapism-UK]

We meet every July, and vote on different places each year. This year is Manchester. Activities and accommodation are already booked for this year, but you're welcome to come along for the day if you're nearby. ^^

First of all, there are a few thousand miles of sea separating me from North America.
However, at the time of the expo I will actually be over there, but I'll be busy with a mandatory 3-week excursion to Canada for university... so while other folks enjoy various expo highlights, I'll be dragging my ass through the Rockies and the Great Bear Rainforest.

Don't have the time and can't afford it. I live in Belfast and I have a full time job which just barely pays for my food and rent. Even if I could somehow make the budget stretch beyond what it is I can't afford to take the time off to go to America, because I still don't have that much holiday time in my contract.

Well, I live in Massachusetts, am very poor, and hate being around strangers, especially crowds of them. In other words, why spend hundreds of dollars to go be miserable, when I can be miserable in my own home for free?
