Tomorrow morning I got to wake up bright and early to get my four impacted wisdom teeth removed at 8 a.m....Any tips you'd like to share?

How about your own personal story about how it was when you got yours removed?

Ask for enough novacaine to put down a horse.

As for a story, there was a lot of blood, and it wasn't pleasant.

Have fun :D!

The end for mine are nearing too.
At the end of the month I'll be visiting the one who's supposed to remove them and see when it could be done.

I can keep the two at the right side, fortunately.

Don't worry at all. I got mine out just last year or so. They give you some anesthesia for a good few minutes, and then once you're all numbed up, they gave me a needle to knock me out. If you're afraid of needles going into your arm, or otherwise just don't like it, don't worry. I hate needles going into my arm and all I felt was a very tiny prick and then I remember nothing else.

After I woke up, I remembered absolutely nothing but I know I somehow got my jacket and glasses back on which creeped me out. The week past, there was moderately annoying pain in my jaw but the medicine cleared that up. Prepare for some headaches in between doses of the stuff (I had to take liquid crap though, since I can't take pills.)

I was able to eat some nice KFC chicken wings just 2 days after it though, so I got to eat some good food.

"Oh yes, there will be blood...."

Just kidding, but I do feel your pain.

I had my two front teeth pulled when I was around 8 or so.

I'm crossing my fingers that mine will grow in normally, they should since I had 4 molars on each side pulled out for my braces.

Got all 4 of mine removed, Advice:
-Have two Ice packs in the freezer
-Take your meds as needed
-be prepared to look like a chipmunk, I did... for a week in a half, you may recover faster or slower depending on how cleanly there pulled...

I know what you mean, this may be the only good thing about having had braces!

I still have a baby tooth, and I am not ever getting it pulled. I did however get my jaw cut open from the inside out, in order to shift some teeth around to make room for others. Lemme tell you, jaws and drills do not go together...

Doesn't hurt in the least, the only problem is that your gums will bleed a lot afterwards and since you'll be all numb there its hard to know if your mouths closed so just make sure to get a few cottonbuds or just bleed everywhere :D.

It was alright, except for the bloody drool, the fact I couldn't feel my mouth for 30 minutes after and having to gargle with salt water for a couple weeks. Other than that, it was alright.

Incidently, they're frigin' big, mine were a little over an inch long.

Take happy pills before hand. Take happy pills during. Take extra happy pills until the hurting stops.

Most dental personnel are on some kind of amphetamine. Meth, dex, oct, hyp, it matters naught to them, they use them to get out of bed in the morning.

Also, anesthetic only works properly in seven cases out of ten. The other three range from semi-numb/conscious to internally alert, but externally unresponsive. You feel the pain, but cannot cry out.

Finally, the bacteria and germs that live in the average human mouth have already evolved defences against modern antibiotics, so even with those god-awful pills they make you swallow, your jaw is still likely to get infected.

i had mine out its not bad doesn't hurt your asleep for it, you will kinda feel sore after it but you get pain pills and such then next day after you'll really feel it but its all cool just keep your mouth relaxed and such, you can do everything normally except eat. you will need to chew on your front teeth its feels weird but you get used to it fast and after about 4 days or so you won't hurt anymore. no pain don't mean your healed up so don't stress your stitches or they will pop before they should and you then need to get restitched.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. the rest of your teeth will be fine and you get to act funny for the first hour your awake so all is good, its like taking a nap in a chair while people watch. Private message me if your still feeling worried about it.
