So I went to a strip club the other day...

I probably wouldn't go to one, yet. I'll save it for when I'm old and fat. I don't really like loud places, and the idea of a silent strip club seems to surreal. I don't particularly look down on go go boys though, other than seething envy.

It was my 22nd bday and my friend thought they would take me to a strip club. It was my first time in a strip club... and it was amazing!

It was just so much fun, what a laugh we had indeed.

There was also a little surprise for me as well because it was my birthday...I was called on stage, tied up & blindfolded, loads of ice was then put down my pants and then my ass was caned and signed with a permanent marker

Anyway, what a laugh that was...

Sounds like they took you for a chump. Normally they take better care of a birthday boy. But then sometimes they can tell a sissy boy and give em what they need I guess.

Do you think the strippers were having 'fun'? Do you think they feel good about themselves? I mean hey, if you have fun by demeaning and objectifying woman then well theres not much I can say. But really, next time think about how your actions make others feel.

It IS possible some of them do have fun and enjoy what they do. Its not as though they truly defile themselves (though even whores could enjoy their work)

Im just pointing out, not everyone with a "degrading" occupation actually feels degraded.

Personally, I love strip clubs, and I don't much care if the girls enjoy their jobs or not, or how it makes them feel. I'm there for my enjoyment, not for theirs.

I used to go to a strib club every wednesday, double whiskey and coke for £1, what can go wrong? Don't recall ever finding the girls particularly attractive, but i guess students go where cheap drinks flow.

I'm still friends with a few of the girls who worked at the bar, they love their job, you'll probably find most strippers enjoy their job as well.

I think I just highlighted the most important part of this. It's their job. We don't all get cherry jobs that we love. I love my job, but I went through several I absolutely hated. But it pays the bills, so you do it. And most strippers I've met make pretty damn good money.

Wow, I've always hated the idea of strip clubs, never understood what could be good about it. I could get drunk any other day and have fun, I could also watch porn but somehow going and seeing sleazy women undress in front of me doesn't entice.

(just me, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with people who enjoy it and to be frank I think the clubs here are a little different in 'talent')

Seriously, it's not like they are forced to dance, they do it and get plenty of money, so it's not immoral or anything, it's ok if you don't like it, but it bothers me that you find it disgusting that he went.
