Sex is good.
I really dislike how a woman will get branded a slut/whore/slag, while the man will get high fived and told to "get in there" as long as no one is getting emotionaly hurt or physically, then shag away.
It's called Slut-Shaming, a well known sexist phenomena. Basically, as long as you use your head (no...pun intended...) and are safe, there's nothing wrong with sex. There are a lot of people who still infer morality based on sexuality, which is kind of ridiculous because morality really has nothing to do with something as primitive as intercourse.

I think it's how you value yourself.
If you think you need to put your needs to the maximum before anything else, casual sex is for you!

But if you'd rather just leave it to someone you actually have another interest in than eroticism (did I spell that right? Is that even a word?), than commitment sex might be something.

Personally, I choose the latter. I really can't be bothered by hyenas with delicious bodies. I need someone I can share interests with, cause... It's weird meeting people you've had sex with, but broken up with later, and be forced to meet day and day. For me, anyhow.

I'm more of a romantic and although I do have a bit of a perve when I see an attractive person, I don't think I could ever just have sex for the sake of having sex, I need a spark to be there an emotional attachment. And some people just like to have some fun, to each there own.

Gah damn it, I knew I was doing it wrong.
I don't stuff my ears with cotton wool before I play the piano...

That's my feeling. As I said, I have no real sex drive to start with, and using condoms sucks hard.

I'm 21 and still a virgin.
And I also feel that I may never find someone I'd want to do it with.
And I've been with many girlfriends.

and now to quote from Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series:
"Now Yugi, playing card games is alot like making love; It usually involves two people and is often done on a table, and the older you are the less fun it is. Also you often feel a deep shame afterwards. So always remember to wear a condom while playing card games..."

that pretty much sums it up ^_^

Argh! I hate this attitude that "condoms suck" no wonder why STI's and underage pregnancies are so high. I think some people really need to be educated in safe sex and STI's

I totally agree with you OP, and it shall remain in my mind as something special for the utmost romatic intimacy with someone truly special. Alot of people I know are not like that, and I find it....a bit disgusting, and well, unmoral.
16 and virgin too, for anyone interested (such a terrible joke I just made......)

Thank god I just thought it was my 6 years of repressed sexuality hyper sexualising everything.

And my response to virginity in general...

There is nothing wrong with being a virgin, there seems to be some sought of rush going on now days that the quicker you lose your virginity the cooler you are. People like different things some people would rather just have a bit of fun with sex and others want to wait not particularly for the person they're going to spend the rest of there lives with but at least with someone they care about.

I'm still a virgin but as I only came out 3 days ago, I haven't really had much of a chance to form any kind of relationship... Although I did have my first open man crush on the train to work yesterday it was totally short lived because he got off at the next station. I'll never forgive him for it.

Well don't start waving your hands and calling things fabulous, or I will be forced to burn your house down with a rainbow flag.

Also, don't get into all that weird gay shit- gay bars and clubs. Wow, the gay "scene" really is a cesspit. I met by boyfriend though the joys of the internet and having my luck maxed out. There are sexy desperate gay geeks out there. But be careful.

I also hate parades and quiche.

EDIT: And children, people, and happiness in general. And... nah, that's enough.

Haha don't worry about that I have 3 sisters and they're all complaining that I'm not a very fun gay brother. I don't go shopping, I don't wear pink or rainbows, I don't think things are fabulous and I didn't suddenly acquire a lisp. The gayest thing I do (except for the whole liking men thing) is cross my legs when I sit at a desk, I dunno why but I always do.

my rules of sex

everybody involved wants to be involved
everybody involved is capable of giving consent

Frequency of sexual activity or gender of partners or number of participants is the business of those involved and nobody else.

Sex is fun, and I have had a few one-nighters, but it really is best with somebody who cares about you enough to take the time to learn what work for you and learn your body. It really is a 'better when you're ready' scenario. I lost my virginity when I was 17, drunk and exploring Italy, and it didn't do much for my self-worth at the time.

The only point I really take issue to about casual sex is that the people who have it often seem to be obsessed with it, I know a guy that apparently took a course in how to pick up women and at that point I figure that it is a little bit of an unhealthy obsession.

Basically I don't think that sex is important so people boasting about how many people they have been with isn't interesting to me.

I have experienced both casual sex and sex with someone I actually care about, and while I'm not opposed to the idea of an open relationship, I find that sex with someone you care about and who cares about you is a totally different expereince (for the better, ofc). The most important thing in any relationship is communication and if both partners are aware and comfortable with the situation, there's no reason an open realtionship can't work.

I think that sex should only happen between people who are commited to each other. Casual sex is just silly and without basic precautions, crosses the line into stupid (STD's man. Gotta avoid them). So it makes more sense to wait until you find the right person.

As for me: I'm 21 years old, still a virgin and in no hurry to change that.
