Carnage i always thought was the best spidey villain ever and he has already been set up in the last film (if not by accident) because Doctor Conners has a small sample of the symbiote in his lab which could grow into Carnage and it could also invlove lizard

I wouldn't complain if they gave me Carnage.

But The Lizard or that fatass from the show wouldn't be too bad either.
Carnage? Straight after Venom? Too soon. It would work story wise though.

I am pretty distraught after 3, those gave scars that may never fade, it was worse than X-Men 3. But I think they need to do a down to earth villain perhaps.

Failing that, shocker, Kingpin, or Kraven the Hunter, BUT FOR GOD'S SAKE NOT ALL 3! Or if you want, you could have Kingpin put out a hit on spiderman, then he fights a mess of lesser villains, because that could work.

I don't know, I'm pretty sceptical either way. Hell even Mysterio or Silver Sable could work, but I don't trust Raimi to make any of them work. Right now I just want a Spider Man film that's good.

The Spiderman movies never really impressed me in the slightest.
I found all of them just horrible and they completly just screwed them up.
No Spiderman 4 please its bad enough just thinking about it.

Well, if anybody can pull a spiderman film off properly, it's good ol' Sam Raimi, he demonstrated that quite clearly since the first two films rocked and the third sucked more than a jet engine intake. It is only right to want to make ammends and apologize to movie goers and comic fans (like myself) by making a fucking good film.

As much as I like the Peter-Mary Jane-Gwen Stacy love triangle, they killed it for me because they didn't have the Goblin kill her.

I really love Venom and Carnage and that particular arc. The problem is, it's a very long story. How long you say?

::Draws huge breath...::

First you have include the creation of Spiderman with the Alien Costume, then have him get rid of it in order to create Venom be bonding him to a vengeful Eddie Brock. Then you have to have Spiderman (now back to his joy ol' red and blue costume) defeat Venom, separating the symbiote with Eddie. Then you get Eddie put in a mental hospital where he meets Cledus Cassidy, and then develop his character (a fucking psychotic serial murder). Meanwhile Eddie has to fall in love with a female psychologist/psychiatrist. Then you have to find a way for the sybiote to get back to Eddie, split and leave another for Cledus to get ahold of and create Carnage. They start running amok seprately and creating destruction and all that until foiled by Spiderman. They have to both be pissed on by Spiderman, and decide to team up to beat him. They get together and kick his ass very well, until you develop another plot point to get Eddie's love interest to confront him and try to stop him, only for him to ignore the stubborn "their's-still-good-in-you" type lady. Then it will take Carnage's really fucked-up mind to go too far and hurt the woman (maybe kill her) and then Venom will have to switch sides, and then develop a truce with Spiderman inorder to beat Carnage.

That's too long for a movie. That's an entire miniseries of comics right there. Movies can never capture the feel and depth of a comic anyways because motion picture ans print are entirely different media and present ideas much differently.

Plus, since they KILLED Venom (as well as cast Eddie Brock horribly wrong), he's gone. He's dead. He's out of the picture. They killed Harry Osbourne, so no Green Goblin 2/Hobgoblin. Kingpin was wasted on a crappily-don Daredevil, so no Sinister Six. ::sighs:: Kingpin was my favorite Spiderman villain and his Sinister Six.

I would like to see Lizard myself. He's already there (well Dr. Connors is): they mentioned him in the first movie and showed him in the second and third movies. In fact, in the below article Dylan Baker (actor who has portrayed Connors in the two films) said he would be excited to play the alter ego. http://uk.movies.ign.com/articles/757/757729p1.html

It is also rumored we may see Electro or Vulture. I would rather see Mysterio, Shocker, or perhaps Morbious (and a cameo from Wesley Snipes as Blade would be full of win).
The thing is with the Carnage story, is if Hollywood really wanted to put Carnage in the next film, lord knows they would pull some retarded half truth of a story out of their arse, and we would be livid.

And YES, the Sinister Six, how the hell did I even forget about them? Here's to hoping they will have them in, because again if Hollywood want Kingpin in the film, they will just ignore the DD film.

I always thought it would be fitting to get someone else to play Spidey after the trilogy. Then again, I've never really liked Macguire, so I might just be biased.

Villain wise, I'm hoping for the Shocker. He's kinda D-List, so I'm not sure you could get a whole movie out of him... But c'mon. Throw the guy a cameo, at least. Just a quick, "Rawr, I'm Shocker, gimme your money" scene, followed by Spidey swinging in, punching him out and making the obligatory quilted toilet paper quip.

Well, From what I remember, Harry is still alive, so theirs always the "you killed my father!" element. plus that ass-tro-naut guy who was engaged to Mary Jane has the "your banging my wife!" Element. As far as any other villains, doctor Conner's is already set up, but that Ideas been passed around a lot. so to be honest, this one is pretty open. I just hope they don't milk poor old peter Parker dry, like Jack sparrow.

Why oh why? As if the third as not bad enough. I mean, Venom killed with noise and vibrations? I expect most action movies like Spider-Man to be mindless and all about the action, not the science and tactics. Where was the massive explosive fight sequence? That what I saw Transformers for. Mindless action.

After the atrocity that was Spiderman 3, I see no way that the franchise can redeem itself. They screwed things up bad enough in the first film by omitting the web shooters, and any story line involving Venom (read: Carnage) is unsalvageable due to the hack job they did with his origin.

Having said that, Lizard aka Doc Connors is a shoe-in and I'm willing to bet that Nick Fury will make an appearance at some point. Beyond that, I'd love to see Doctor Octopus return, as he was one of Spidey's primary villains and played perfectly by Alfred Molina.

And why hasn't anyone mentioned Electro yet....?

Either I go or the Spiderman movies do. By that I mean, either they stop making them or I kill the writers, then the directors, then the cast, and then the assholes at Marvel who keep allowing these people to make the godawful train wrecks.

Oh, and if this is true and it is inevitable; PLEASE KILL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Venom, he needs redeeming. He got in as some shoddy carnage wannabe, and made me sad. Bring the big black hulk into the fray along with Carnage, and then go utterly nuts with 2 symbiotes and Perhaps Lizard to add to the fun.

does anyone knoe what Carnage is made out of??

it looks lik Venoms alien skin type but *burnt orangy red* and way
kooler.
Venom's alien symbiotic and a jailed psychopathic murder.

Carnage and Dr.Connors get my vote. I know Raimi is interested in the sinister 6 (don't do it!) and the life vampire, Morbius (worth a go!) and Kraven the hunter (why?)...the series peaked at number 2 though...
sweet thanx...

Scorpion would be an excellant choice to see in Spideys Films to catch a glimpse of the making of the whole effects of his kool *whipping tail/grabbing* action.

1) For the next movie to be good, the studio needs to back off and stop forcing things upon Sam Raimi's creative infleunce, otherwise you end up with exactly the same clusterduck of plot threads that was Spiderman 3.

As for villains, I highly doubt that Carnage will be in the fourth film. The guy is a mass-murdering serial killer who writes "Carnage Rules" in his own blood... Not very PG-13!

I think they should return to the roots of the films and the comics and stray from the new stories, imo they should stick to the classic villains and only one or two at a time; though I guess they could do a throwaway opening with Spiderman defeating for example a Bruce Campbell Mysterio (Please God yes) just to hit the ground running, we wouldn't have to actually see the character again and it means fans are made happy by seeing said villain without the plot getting too murky.
