It's a shame that the Punisher was used up in the last two crappy movies. He would have made s good secondary menace for Spidey. Maybe Spidey trying to beat the Punisher to the big baddie.

The Lizard is apparently making an appearance, as is Vulture, and the Scorpion. Also there's word they might add Kraven, although this is in both four and five.

I really wouldn't care. The last few ones were entertaining, nothing special but in no way messed up. I would watch it, I just hope they don't try to add any psychological nonsense to add a pretend sophistication that Spiderman just never had.

Well, they've been building up to the lizard over at least the last two movies. So I would say he's the villain.
I think they should somehow end the series. Especially now that Harry is dead. That plot line, apart from Peter and Mary Jane, was the only common thread between the movies.

I would like to see the Lizard and Rhino in this one.
Now imagine at the end of this movie, you see Mary Jane's old Boyfriend the astronaut to go up into space and come in contact with carnage some how and he becomes carnage.
I don;t want to see villains like The Vulture or the shocker, because they are a little bit too cartoony for my taste. Sure they could possibly update them and make them more...realistic as I will say, but I just think that they are not as depth of characters as say Doc Oct, Venom, and the Lizard. Peter had a previous connecting with these villains.
Seem almost all the villains you see in Spider-man, they fought more for physical attacks rather than using lasers or blasters...or whatever.
