So... what's your opinion on dogs?

I have had a few dogs (well I haven't but my mum has) but I am not overly fond of them.

Yeah, there till the novelty wears off and then it's just cleaning up shit, pointlessly walking, listen to the thing bark pointlessly, spend hours getting hairs off you or looking like a bit of a scruff and when there ill they cost a fortune!

My mums dog has this new mysterious illness which means it can't walk (or something) and it cost £330 just to call an "ambulance" for it.

I have never owned one before, but once I have my own living space, I plan on getting one. I want to raise him/her to be a good friend. I have heard that raising dogs is hard, so I am a bit nervous to try, but I really do want a loyal companion.

Dogs are great. Sure, the really little toy breeds get kind of creepy, but on the whole if you treat a dog well you have one heck of a companion.

I can't say I hate them, but I sure don't like them. They're really loud, they require too much attention and most need lots of training to learn basic things.

Love dogs, I could absolutely flod this thread with pictures of mine, I've got millions because I only get to see her once every 6 months if I'm lucky. All worth it for her reaction when I see her.
