Society of Justice 3: Crisis on the Earth

Richard quickly bypassed the system hearing the beep which told him he had entrance. Richard charged into the room followed by three security officers, he immediately pulled the syringe out of her hand and three it across the room as the guards held her by her arms to at least try and make sure she didn't go running off.

"Don't you ever fucking do that again you hear me?! I don't give a shit what your father did, you are not risking your life to fix what isn't broken in the first damn place. I also suggest you wait until the god damn tests come back before you start jumping to fucking conclusions. Until you calm down you are hear by banned from all Masterson Industry owned property and are going on sabbatical effective immediately. You are emotionally unstable and thus unfit to run the company at this time. I suggest you go to the Promenade where I will meet you after I sort this all out and get the proper paperwork done. Security, please remove Mrs. Masterson from the premises and make sure she gets to the Promenade." Richard said, it hurt him to have to say it but he knew it was for her own good to be doing this. He would understand if she hated him for this but he knew it was by far the right thing to do to make sure she wouldn't have the ability to harm herself any further.

Alex gave Richard a hurt and angry look. "Get the fuck off of me god dammit." Alex yelled trying to get them off her. She was pissed and would give anything just to hit Richard. "Like I'll want to see you Richard." Alex said coldly as she was dragged out to her car.

Eric arrived just in time to see Alex dragged out. "Richard what the hell happened here?" Eric said then blinked seeing the test results Alex was waiting for print out. Eric grabbed it and gave it to Richard. "Looks like she tested you as well." Eric said giving him the paper.

Richard took the results and immediately shredded them.

"I don't give a damn about the results." Richard said blandly.

"I put her on vacation for emotional instability and she is being taken to the Promenade as we speak. I need to fill out the papers to ban her from the premises until such a time as she is fit to work again."

Eric sighed. "It said Alex is the one having issues. Seems her dad didn't get to finish his work on her. So ummm you can't just shut down Gentron, work still must go on." Eric said hearing Alex scream and yelled profanities at Richard.

"Mother fucking. I HATE YOU RICHARD!" Alex yelled tears running down her cheek. She was pulled into the elevator and growled using the water in the air to push the guards away. She ran into her office and pulled back her fist punching Richard hard in the face. "Go to hell Richard." Alex said as the guards ran up behind Alex and pressed her face to her desk. "I hate you Richard." Alex said tears running down her cheek.

Eric sighed seeing how hurt and depressed Alex was as she was dragged out yet again. "You ok Rich?" he asked picking up the needled and turned what ever was in it into water and threw it away.

"I'm not shutting down Gentron, just denying her access to the building. That way while the scientists work Alex can't endanger herself. As for me being okay...no, not really. Even though I know it was the right thing to do doesn't make it any easier to take the words. Especially with all the hate in her eyes." Richard said as he rubbed his cheek. He requested the paperwork he would need over the intercom and sat down to wait for its arrival.

"For now I can distract myself from the pain by busying myself with work for a while."

 

[Lizmichi]

"She's stressed and has been over whelmed for a while. All she's wanted was a family and not being able to have a child is killing her. I'll stay here and help you as much as I can. I have to fix the card swipe and lock out Alex." Eric said.

Alex was forced into her car and driven to the Promenade. "Well be watching you Mrs. Masterson." a guard said to her.

"Yea yea fuck off and go to hell." Alex said going to her and Richard's room. She threw all of Richard's things across the room yelling at the top of her lungs and punched a hole in the wall breaking her hand. "FUCK!" Alex screamed and slumped to the floor crying.

"I can handle that Eric, no need. Go tend to Alex, she'll need you more. I'm not exactly allowed to be emotional support right now." Richard replied looking down at the table so he wouldn't have to look at Eric in his current state.

"I will after I finish my work." Eric said walking out of the room and to his office to shut out Alex from the building. He knew both of them where feeling like shit right now and knew it was best to leave them both be.

Alex sighed looking at her bleeding hand. "God what have I done? I.. god I hate my self sometimes." Alex said nursing her hand as best she could without her water.

Tommy heard Alex yelling and wrecking her and Richard's room, "Alright what the fuck is going on there?" He almost hand waved it as Alex being her usual moody self but realized this was extreme even for her. He also noticed Richard wasn't close behind to patch things and several more red flags began to fly.

Tommy mustered his courage and went into the breach, walking over to Alex's room. He listened for a bit but couldn't get a clear idea of what was going on. He knocked on the door lightly, "Alex, it's Tommy, can I come in?" He asked.

Alex looked at the door. "Come in Tommy." Alex said weakly. She was a mess and looked even worse. "God I fucked up Tommy. Hell I'm fucked up. I can't get pregnant and now my own husband bared me from Gentron." Alex refused to look up at Tommy. She was crushed and up set. To her she failed her self and Richard. She was still pissed at Richard but was more so at her self then anything.

"God damn it, really fucked up this time didn't I?" Richard said as the papers arrived and he began to fill out all the proper information.

'Hopefully she'll calm down. God I can't believe she would do something like that because of something entirely out of her control. I want a kid to but we can't have a child if one of us is dea.'

 

[CounterAttack]

From her seat at the kitchen table where she had obtained breakfast, Katie watched Alex storm through the lounge, closely followed by the sounds of someone who was evidently angry about something. Tommy followed in Alex's direction soon after, although she was concerned about what was going on. Richard wasn't around, and neither was Eric... usually Alex turned to Katie when neither of those two were available options. Leaving her mostly-eaten breakfast on the table, Katie got up and made her way to Alex's room. Tommy had beaten her to it and was already walking inside. Nonetheless, Katie hovered in the hall a short distance away, in case she was needed.

Katie started listening in on the conversation... Alex was infertile? That was definitely something to get worked up over if you wanted to have children. She herself hadn't really thought that far into her future, but from what she had overheard one time, Alex and Richard had been unable to produce a child thus far.

Tommy slowly opened the door, "Shit that sucks," Tommy blurted immediately, not needing a millisecond to regret saying it. "Uh, crap I didn't I mean it like that." He said as he sat down across from Alex.

" I mean I did, that sounds terrible for you, but I didn't mean it to sound so casual. It's just..." Tommy bit his lip to stem his verbal diarrhea, and give his brain a chance to catch up with his mouth. Aw crap where's Katie when you need her? He looked down at Alex's hand and decided it might be best to tackle the little things first.

"You want me to get you something for your hand?" He asked.

"I don't care Tommy and it's fine. It's my body that's fucked up. I tried to revert everything my father had done to me but Richard stopped me thinking it would kill me. The fact is I just want a kid but it seems I can't have one." Alex said tears running down her cheek. She clenched her broken hand but didn't yelp or care really. "I'm sorry for how I treated you the first day I came here." alex said.

"That? Water under the bridge." He hand waved, " Pardon the pun," He chuckled as he got up, "Hold on I'm gonna find you something for that hand, just because you don't care doesn't mean I'm gonna let you bleed out on me."

Tommy went into the bathroom and grabbed a first aid-kit from under the sink. He went back and rejoined Alex.

" Why do you want kids? You should talk to my mother, five minutes with her and you'll never want to procreate again. I swear me and my siblings must have drove that poor women insane. Between Garret fusing small woodland creatures together, Dira turning the dining room table into a car, and me, well, being me, I really don't see where the benefit was for her." He said, before reaching his hand out, "Can I see your hand?"

"And I love you for that," Levi replied with a warm smile. In the silence that followed, he savored every moment, every detail. Their closeness, the faint warmth that radiated from Taryn's skin, the feel of her touch around his neck, the red tips of her dark brown hair and her wonderful brown eyes, everything. This was the woman that Levi loved more than words could describe, and despite the worst Victor could throw at them over two years, they were still here. Together. And nothing on this Earth would ever change that. Levi drifted in and gently pressed his lips to Taryn's once more, this time with a hint of extra pressure.

Taryn started to smile but the action was pleasantly forestalled by Levi's kiss. As her eyes closed Taryn moved her hands up the base of Levi's neck until her fingers rested against the back of his head. One kiss turned easily into another. It was a familiar exchange, a give and take of control and gentle exploration. Amidst the slowly kindling warmth that was spreading through her Taryn leaned into Levi. In doing so she felt Levi's chest expand as he took a breath. And that breath brought their proximity into intimate awareness.

Carefully Taryn slid her hands across Levi's shoulders and down his chest. Her fingers trailed lightly over thin cotton fabric that hinted at the finely toned muscles it covered. Her movement stilled for a second when her hands reached Levi's waist. Then Taryn's arms settled around him in a way that mirrored his own hold. She broke their kiss slowly.

The room seemed to be darker when Taryn opened her eyes. She blinked but things were still just a bit out of focus. 'Hmm...' Keeping her arms locked around Levi, Taryn leaned back so that she could look up at him. Things became focused again. '...there.' Taryn smiled slightly.

Jason reentered the Promenade commons after completing an energetic jog around the towering building. His well deserved gleam of satisfaction was replaced with a confused contort as he stepped through the lounge, the air of the place tense with hostility, anger, and sadness. Whatever happened minutes prior, Jason obviously wasn't around for it. Concerned, Jason made his way towards the residential wing of the building, preferably to get to his room, but was stopped as he caught a glimpse of Katie standing outside of one of the many doors in the expanse corridor. Nearing her, he slowed his anxious gait to a slow clamber as he cautiously greeted her.

"Hey Katie...did I, uh...miss something?" He asked, his confused emotions for the current events greatly apparent in his voice and mannerisms.

 

[Lizmichi]

Alex gave Tommy her hand and sighed. "My mom took good care of me. I wasn't like this until she died. I want to honor my mother by raising my kids to be better then me. Besides I've wanted a family since I was 18." Alex said looking up at Tommy.

Alex's hand was hurting like hell but what hurt more was what Richard had done, or was it what forces Richard to do it? She hated the feeling for being lose and useless, Alex felt weak. She hugged Tommy out of a need for some comfort. Tommy was all she had at that time, Richard was too pissed, same with Eric and Katie wasn't around it seemed. "I fucked up Tommy." Alex said crying some.

 

[CounterAttack]

"Oh, hey, Jase," Katie answered quietly, not wanting to give away the fact that she was eavesdropping on Alex and Tommy. "Something's up with Alex... based on what I heard just now, she might be infertile. And..." She paused for a moment to listen to what Alex was saying. "Oh, geez. If she's wanted a family since she was eighteen, that would be a blow to the heart if she couldn't conceive. If you want to listen in, stay quiet."

On that note, Katie shut up and closed her eyes to concentrate on what she could hear.

At the sight of Alex storming through the lounge, Rowan both perked up a little and his hopes fell. She was pissed. No sign of Eric or Richard, so... something was definitely wrong. It might have been totally unrelated to Rowan's problems, but it worried him. He suddenly felt restless, and got up, resuming his pacing. He didn't bother to respond to Tyson, considering that Tyson would just have another response to it, which Rowan would disagree with on some level but be unable to voice his disagreement. Such was the case when he was involved in a prolonged discussion.

Tommy patted Alex on the back, "Hey, it's not your fault." He told her as he let go and began attending to her hand, first spraying it with something to sterilize the wound and then wrapping it in bandages.

"Alex, I know that what ever you do Richard won't hold a grudge. And I'm sure you and Richard will make great parents, even if you can't get pregnant there are still other ways."
